Chapter 4

they were on the couch and shay had her tongue down alison's throat.

i cleaned the table and went to walk back to my counter when i smirked.

i "accidentally" dropped a cup of coffee on shay.

she gasped and pulled away from alison.

"what the hell fields?!" she shouted.

"sorry. it was an accident." i said innocently and shrugged.

she glared at me, "you just happened to walk by me and drop coffee on me?! while i'm making out with my girlfriend?"

i frowned.

"girlfriend?" i questioned.

i looked at alison and she looked at me angrily. not even caring that shay called her her girlfriend

"girlfriend?" i repeated.

alison nodded, "yeah. what does it matter to you? you hate me remember? let's go shay. you need to wash up." alison took her hand and they left.

i sighed and cleaned everything up.

i realized that everyone was staring at me.

"show's over people." i said and gave them all dirty looks.

they turned back to their food or drink.

god i hope alison is still coming.

i looked at my watch, 8:07

i sighed and brushed my fingers over the side of the kissing rock.

i smiled and heard a crack of wood.

i shot up, "w-who's there?" i said.

"relax. it's okay. it's just me. promise. sorry i'm late i was at a movie with shay." alison said as she walked out of the bushes.

i sighed in relief and smiled, "oh...good. it's okay. i just was afraid you were someone else...i thought you'd be..." i trailed off.

"em. A is gone. Aria killed Shana. it's over. now what did you want to talk about? or tell me?" she said as she sat down next to me.

"first. i'm sorry. for what i said to you the other night."

"emily-"

"no. i was a dick and i know that. i didn't mean what i said ali. i was upset.i thought you were playing me again like last time so i shut you down. and i am so so sorry about that." i said and grabbed her hands.

she looked down at our hands, then back up into my eyes.

"that's okay." she said kindly.

"no it's not...but that's not the point. i am also sorry for what happened at the brew. and yes i'll apologize to shay. not for her. but for you." i pointed out to her.

she giggled, "okay. that it?"

"no...alison...i um...i know i should've told you before but i l....i lo...." i couldn't speak.

"emily it's okay. you can tell me." alison stated and took my hands.

oh her sweet sweet hands.

"alison...i was wrong.i thought i didn't love you but i do. i don't know why i didn't think it'd be true again but it is. i am in love with you ali. i want to be with you." i said.

she didn't move.

she was frozen.

i leaned in and kissed her, out of the blue.

she was shocked at first but then she responded, her eyes closed.

i felt an explosion and butterflies. i felt like i was on top of the world.

her lips are so soft and intriguing.

her baby butt soft skin.

god i love her.

alison quickly pulled away, "emily...i can't do this."

"what? why not?" i asked, getting that my heart will be broken soon look on my face.

she stood up and scoffed, laughing unhumorously.

"because i am with shay!"

"break up with her ali." i said and took her hands.

"i want this. i want you. i want us alison." i begged and kissed her hand.

she widened her eyes and pulled away, "emily! i can't do that to shay!"

"why not alison? give me one good reason why we can have this." i said.

she shook her head, tears building in her delicate eyes, "because emily...i love her."

those words cracked my heart.

"oh..." was all i had the ability to say.

"emily i didn't know! you said you didn't love me."

"no alison i get it. you want hot girl with cool car and money. not me."

alison smiled, "that's not why i love shay em. she makes me laugh. she makes me happy...something i haven't done or felt in a long time."

i sighed and looked down, the tears dripping from my eyes.

"yeah um...i guess i'll go...see you around alison." i said and left quickly before alison saw me break down.

i banged my hands on the steering wheel and drove away.
