Jay

"PARK JONG" *breathes* "SEONGGGGGGG!" jihyo a sharp voice pierced as she vocalised a bit. 

"DAMN VOCALISING ALERADY?!" I shouted back as I woke up from my WONDERFUL sleep,

"YOU ARE LATE FOR SCHOOL YOU PABO!" jihyo shouted out, I just tilted my head confused.

"WHAT-?" I checked the time and it was 8:46...school starts at 8:30, reality then hit me as my eyes widened.

"WAHHHH!" i shouted as I ran to my bathroom, my black locks flying around. I then ran out as I bid my goodbyes and ran to my school. Decelis Academy. 

As I arrived at school I started breathing heavily as I tried to catch my breath. 

"so, mister pretty boy is late for school today?" a familiar voice said, drawing my attention.

my stomach fluttered as the word "pretty" slurred out of his mouth so smoothly and it sounded so hot? but this feeling was kind of strange, leaving me confused. 

this was hatred, right?

I turned to see Yang Jungwon standing there, that kitty like smirk playing across his lips, his eyes glinting with mischief.

I clicked my tongue in annoyance, I was irritated by this man, he would always find a way to get under my skin no matter what.

"just leave me aloneeeee~" I whined as I tried to go speed walk past him but he stopped me as he pinned me to a locker,

"nu-uh-uh" jungwon retorted as he pinned me to a wall, 

"but-" I said as I looked at him with my eyes silently pleading as I unintentionally pouted.  "you think I would let you go like that?" jungwon said with a scoff, I just pouted even more as I looked down, 

"ok ok you can go then" jungwon said as he averted his gaze, covering his face because as a hint of red could be seen on his cheeks.

I ran off as I whisper shouted in victory. 

I slid open the door as everyone just looked in my direction while I just stood there on my spot, 

it took me a few seconds to realise that I shouldn't just stand there, 

"oh sorry sir for being late," I said as I bowed down to him, "someone was causing me some troubles like the usual." 

"Yang Jungwon is it?" Mr Chan said as he just stared at me while sliding his glasses back on, I just nodded in which Mr Chan let me go without any penalties. 

I was the person who would take care of the students who go to afterschool detention, and everybody knows that yang jungwon was the biggest menace, and definitely a fine man-WAIT-

"JAY-AH!" i heard jake whisper shout as he patted the seat in between him and niki, I just sat down quickly while I asked him what we were doing. 

oh yeah, my friends are niki, jake and sunoo, we were popular because we were called the pretty boy group. 

"Okay guys, so try translating this sentence into English..." 

"psst jay," I heard niki call out, "hm?" I replied back as I was busy trying to focus on the work, "do you know park sunghoon?" he said as I just nodded, signalling him to continue. 

"well I think I like him," he said, I just raised my eyebrows but he probably likes him platonically just like everyone does because of his ice skating skills right? like not a crush right? 

"not platonically, like I actually think I love him." niki said as if he read my mind, I just side eyed him with my eyebrows raised, is this dude being for real? he never even met him, or even had an actual conversation with him.

"but like you never actually met hi-"  "well I actually have!" 

I just looked at him as I just made an "O" expression, while he just nodded, giggling like a happy baby duckling . 

can't believe our little maknae is having a crush, I thought as I faked crying, wiping my tears. 

"uhhh jay you good?" jake asked me as he saw me wiping my 'tears'. 

"oh yeah it's just that our little maknae is having a little crush,"  I said as I continued being emotional. 

"WHAT?!" jake shouted as he stood up, everyone just looked at him with his sudden outburst.

"jake please sit your bottom back down on that chair, thank you." Mr Chan said in the most elegant way, that's wild.  

me, niki and sunoo just kept on bullying him about his sudden outburst the rest of the class as he just sulked like a pouty baby. 

*RING* 

the whole class was bustling as everyone started packing up to go to the cafeteria so they could get their food faster. 

"that lesson I actually felt productive," sunoo said as we all just nodded to what he was saying, minding our own business. 

"also did you guys know i got myself a man now?" sunoo nonchalantly said as we all stopped our tracks and looked at him with a shocked expressions.

"WHAT?!" we all screamed at once, we all then ran up to him as we started questioning him while squealing like little girls, 

"WHO IS IT? WHO IS IT?" 

"heeseung-" 

"WAIT THE LEE HEESEUNG?!"

"SHSHh" 

while we were all having a mini celebration for sunoo, I saw how jake's demeanor changed immediately as his 'puppy' ears drooped down at the mention of heeseung

I noticed the glistening tears in jake's eyes, I frowned as I pouted seeing him all sad so I just hugged jake as I excused us so we could go to the nurse room so jake could have a rest. 

"jakey what happened? you make me want to tear up.." I slowly said while I jutted my bottom lip out, trying to contain myself from crying as I rubbed his back soothingly,

I guess this was all too much for jake as he suddenly broke down in front of me, 

"h-heeseung," jake said in between his sobs, I just patiently waited for him to continue, "I l-loved...and I still love him.." my eyes started trembling as seeing him cry made me want to cry too. 

jake was my best mate, he was my cute little aussie younger brother who was very sensitive and vulnerable, like me.

he was too precious for this harsh world.

the tears started dropping down onto my tears as I just pulled him into a comforting hug while we both cried to each other, 

"jakey be strong for big bro jay okay?" I said as I patted his head, jake just slowly nodded as he looked at me with his puppy eyes, "thank you hyung, I love you big bro..." he said before snuggling onto my shoulder again in search for comfort.

we weren't biological brothers, but we were both really close to each other. 

we both learned korean together in grade school when we just moved to korea from our respectable countries, jake from australia while I was from america, 

This then bloomed our inseparable and beautiful friendship. 

jake's tears stopped flowing down as he was able to control his breathing, he then looked at me and smiled as I saw excitement and happiness shine in his eyes as he looked at me. 

"you are the best hyung!" jake said adorably as I just ruffled his hair. 

"i know this is going to be hard for you since sunoo and heeseung are now dating, but if you got any troubles, please tell your big bro okay?" I said reassuringly as he just nodded and dragged my hand as he skipped towards the cafeteria.
