LEILANI'S POV

I sat in front of my mirror, staring at basically nothing.
I was so happy that Lucciano wanted to take me out but another part of me was afraid to leave Allegra alone.
I wanted so much to trust his words but I still couldn't help but worry.
I sighed getting up and sliding my feet into my heel, I sat down to lock the straps when Christoph walked in, no words spoken, he knelt before me, setting my foot on his knee and locked the straps in place.

The feel of his warm skin against my ankle sent shivers up my spine. He set my foot down his cool grey eyes searching my face... My body.
He smirked.
God was this man so attractive...
Not only physically but in his mannerisms too.
I'm certain that I love him.
"Sei davvero bellissima, farfalla mia." He uttered, I couldn't understand a word but my lips curved into wide smile.

"Shall we?" I nodded.

With my arm wrapped around his, we walked into the Michelin star restaurants specially reserved for just the two of us. "Will you ever do things like a normal person does?"
"Meaning?" He arched an eyebrow, looking down at me.
"Reserving the whole restaurant just for a few hours of dinner.'
"We'll this is normal for me... growing up we'd always reserve the whole restaurant just for our family whenever we are out. My family... We like privacy."
"How big is your family?"
"Quite big.... It's an extended family nobody gets left behind..."

We sat down, "is everyone part of the Mafia?" I asked quietly.
"Somehow affiliated even though the women don't participate in the happenings of the Mafia unless they choose to."
"That's good." Our conversation was cut short by the arrival of our first course, only after the waiters left did we continue talking.

"Do you want to meet my family?" My eyes widened, his darkened, fixated on me as he drank of his wine. The way he looked at me felt kind of sinister.
His visage held no emotion, he stared at me, awaiting my response.
"I... I would." He nodded his eyes drifting away from me.

Was that weird or was it just me...
Part of me was excited though... He wanted me to meet his family.

I took a sip of my wine before switching the conversation to something that lit up the atmosphere.

After a couple of hours, we were done with dinner.
Part of me was exhausted but Christoph wanted to take me some place.
I lean back into the passenger seat, fighting the fatigue. For some reason he chose not to speak at all making it super hard to stay awake.

My eyes widened as Allegra crossed my mind. I quickly dialed home and waited for Valerie to pick up.
It took her a moment till she finally answered, relief washed over me as I was starting to worry.
I casually inquired about them both and if everything was okay.
Just fine.

I shifted my attention to Christoph, he seemed a bit uneasy.... Aggravated almost.
How did I not notice this earlier?
"Is everything okay Christoph?"
"Hm?" He let out his eyes fixated on the road.
"Is everything okay? You look tense?"
"Um, yeah.... Everything's alright." I turned away to focus on the scenery out the window.
"You haven't spoken a word since we left the restaurant... Please talk to me." I said softly.
I gave him a side eye, his eyes were on me for a brief moment before he turned them back to the road.
"Well it's Dante." My eyes widened, hearing his name made me sick.
"He was spotted with Neluca."
"Is that bad?" I let out softly.
"I think so, Dante and Neluca's history is quite complicated, they worked together about 22 years ago. But there alliance ended, not sure why." Silence filled the atmosphere, were we safe?

"You don't have to be afraid of anything Kaele, I'm right here." I knew I was safe with him around, but I was scared, I don't know why but I wasn't at peace.

He placed his hand on mine, which laid in my lap. I smile turning my hand to lock our fingers.

He stopped the car and I could see the sea from where we were. I turned to him, "are we?" I asked excitement laced in my voice. He simply nodded and proceeded to get out of the car and open my door.
He took my hand, and the cold breeze immediately grazed my skin forming goosebumps.
With my eyes fixated on whatever was bestowed upon me, I felt his warm suit jacket cover my arms. I turned to look up to him and gave a smile to which he responded with a kiss.
I loved it.

"I've been wanting to bring you here for a while." He said as we walked to the docks, hand in hand.
"I've never been on a yacht before.... But a boat... I've only ever been on a boat on a lake, it capsized." He chuckled. I smiled looking up at him, the wind blowing through his hair, his crisp white shirt perfectly outlining his physique with the help of the wind.
Was I falling too hard?

Some middle-aged man ushered us into the yacht. It was beautiful, something out of the movies, almost. But this was better.
We began to sail. Christoph left to get us drinks, I stood by the railing my eyes on the calm waters.

Compared to his world, I was so small, he grew up with all of this while I grew up with barely anything. He's a man that has it all, what would he need from me?

He handed me a glass of champagne, "I don't think we have any non alcoholic champagne." He said taking a sip of his ale. I took it, with a faltering smile.
"What's wrong?" He asked softly.
"It's nothing." I smiled. He wore an expression I couldn't describe, but it compelled me to speak up.
"Well....I...I was just thinking how different our worlds are, you have all this, I have nothing." I tried to smile looking away. "I have nothing for you." He held my chin making me face him, and bridged the gap between us.
"You've given me everything, things I never knew I needed, you've given it all to me." He placed his glass down before cupping my cheeks. "I just need you and Allegra with me."

His lips crashed onto mine and his tongue began to artistically explore every Inch of my mouth, the heat of his body on mine, ignited a flame, a flame I wanted to so badly feel, a flame I needed to quench more than anything and only he could do it for me.
His hands travelled up and down my body while my hands messed up his hair.

This felt so familiar, my sensitivity heightened, he slowed down, pulling away placing his forehead on mine. Our breaths so heavy it was all I could hear.
He carried me to the bed, our lips meeting ever so often.

He laid me on the bed and took a step back, his hands swiftly undid and pulled away his belt. He soon was hovering over me, his lips found my neck and I couldn't help but let out soft moans.
His hand ran up my thighs as his lips found every place imaginable on my body, he tightly gripped my waist pulling my panties down in one swift motion, he pulled me up to him... I felt him.
My hands had the mission of getting rid of all that was in between us and that started with his shirt.
