Leilani's POV

"All this is mine?" I asked slightly stunned. And she nodded in response. I truly was tired of wearing the same old shirt and jeans..... finally I got new cloths. "Well... Thank you." I smiled. "I will inform Mr Lucciano." She smirked.

"Lucciano." I repeated whispering. "When is He going to get here?" He wasn't here last night. One of the best things that could possibly happen but I needed to talk to him.

"Sorry, but I do not know when he'll be back." I nodded and she left.

I prepared dinner. I don't know why but this place felt lonely without Lucciano yet peaceful. Yesterday I had Vinny with me, he was such a nice guy I just wonder why he surrounds himself with people like Lucciano.  I was bored.... yes, but at least I didn't have a psychopath carrying guns and always wearing an angry expression around me. Guards not included.

This was a good time to do some snopping around maybe. I carried my plate of food with me over to the dining table, when I screamed my plate crushing to the ground as I stumbled back trying to catch my breath while he just stood there uninterested. When did he get here??

"When did..." I breathed.

"You ought to be careful Kaele. I don't like messes in my house." He started to walk away. I folded my arms in annoyance, "Stop!"

"What did you just say?" He turned looking at me in disbelief, my eyes widened and moved at either sides as I immediately regretted my tone and choice of words as he came towards me.

"I mean.. wait?" I gave an awkard smile. Anger wasn't evident on his face, he kept a straight face..... It emitted uninterested, devilish and confident vibes. He was the most intimidating man I've ever met.

"I don't appreciate being spoken to like that Kaele. Repeat that and I will do things you won't like." He seethed and walked away.

I let out a sigh, how was talking to him this hard?

But no matter the situation I still had to talk to him.

I had my dinner in my room, and I still had Lucciano... and my dad on my mind. Only he could get me out of this.

I went down stairs, mindlessly navigating myself through different parts of the house. where the hell is his room?

I went back and used the second hall way. Light shone from under the door... This was it. There was nothing but silence as I placed my head to the door.

Hopefully he wasn't asleep. I needed to do this today itself.

My body tensed, I bit my lower lip, shutting my eyes. Why was I nervous. I just had to get in there and talk to the man. I groaned turning away when a hand grabbed mine. My breath hitched and eyes widened in shock. He slowly turned me towards him. A questioning look lingering on his face. "What are you doing here Kaele?" I blinked a few times, still in shock. Only now did I realise that he was waiting for an answer, "Um...I-I need to talk to you."

An uninterested expression befell his visage as he rolled his eyes. "I hope this won't waste any of my time." He grumbled.

"It won't." Besides he seemed to be doing nothing serious, I could tell from his attire which was a white robe and the half empty glass of alcohol he had in his hand.

He made way for me to enter his room. The room was dimly lit, but I could still see the exquisite design consisting of grey, blue, brown and gold tones. He brushed past me taking a seat and gestured to the empty seat by his.

I gulped moving forward. "Scotch?" I shook my head. I had my hands together resting on my knees, my whole body was rigid. He smirked bringing the tumbler to his lips. "Relax Kaele, I won't bite you, unless asked of course." I rolled my eyes cursing him under my breath. He gazed at me with a vaguely concealed smirk.

So much for trying to make me comfortable. "Mr Lucciano, I'd like to talk to my father." He arched an eyebrow. "I believe you manipulated my father hence he was left with no other choice but to trade me in." He let out an airy chuckle. "I manipulated Dante." He repeated, smiling, intrigued. "And what would I get from having him use you as payment? Dante didn't have two million laying around and if he couldn't pay me back in cash, he'd give a life."

"And why would my dad borrow two million from you?"

"I don't know, isn't it a habit of destitutes like you and your father?" He sipped his drink. "My father and I are not destitutes Mr Lucciano, I demand to speak to him only then will this be cleared." And I could go back home to my old life with my dad.

He dialed his number and slid his phone over to me.

I took the phone in my slightly shaking hands and brought it up to my ear. I breathed deeply as it just rang, My patience thinned as I bit on my lower lip, it just kept ringing___Until he picked up......

"Hello, dad?"
