A month has passed since the rescue of Izuku Midoriya. He has been moved to an ordinary hospital room after much discussion but with the condition that he and the little girl is cuffed on their beds. The chain connecting the cuffs was long enough for them to wander the room itself but not enough to reach the door.

The sports festival also recently ended with Bakugo being tied up as first place on the podium as All might forcefully made the rabid dog wear his collar, or his medal. Either way, it adorned his neck when he visited Izuku at the hospital.

Nonetheless, Izuku paid him no mind. Instead, he poured all of his attention to the young girl beside him. Bakugo couldn't help but feel somewhat... Jealous. He remembers the time when he was the one subjected to all of Izuku's attention and admiration. Until he turned out to be a jerk.

One little shiver, or sneeze, or even with just a look, Izuku would come running to embrace the girl tightly. The girl often smiled warmly at this, which would result to a very wholesome moment between the two.

"Ahem. Eri, right?" Bakugo tries to start a conversation with the girl for the first time since their rescue. He used to try to chat with Izuku but he often ignores him (probably) and only focuses on the little girl, earning her a confused look from Bakugo.

Eri glanced at Bakugo. Somehow, she looked more mature than what her age would suggest. "What is it?"

"So, um. Uhh... How old are you?" Bakugo awkwardly asked. He was kinda nervous.. Kids never liked him and would start crying when he's near, not that it mattered to him since he doesn't like wimpy kids anyways.

Eri narrowed her eyes at Bakugo. She thinks that Bakugo is weird.. but decided to answer anyways after some calculation. ".... I was 5 when I met brother... It's been 4 winters since then... So I'm 9."

'9?? I thought she was 6, 7 at most! She's ridiculously smaller in stature compared to anyone of her age..' Bakugo was surprised but also couldn't help but pity the girl.

Eri looked away from Bakugo and turned her attention to Izuku. As usual, his face was barren of any kind of reaction.

"He changed so much since then..", she adds, remembering the past.

Bakugo felt guilty, if only he saved him back then. But what can he do even if he knew where he was? He was also just a kid–a devious one.

"What was he like?", he asks,"when you first met him, what was he like then?... Or you, what was your life before meeting him?"

Eri returned her gaze to Bakugo, slightly taken aback with the question. Still, she answered him with a sigh.

"How do I even begin.."

"Stay here." Shigaraki orders, leaving Puppet on the hallway outside of the room with pristine walls. Puppet sat down on the floor, knees to his chest, while he waited for his master.

It had been a while before the door opened for the second time. He looked up, expecting to see his master only to be met with another man with a child in his arms. The child wore a neat and simple dress but it couldn't hide the bandages peeking through her sleeves and skirt.

The man holding her though, scowled at Puppet. "Disgusting.", he whispered under his breath. He turns and walks away from him while carrying the girl in his arms.

Puppet didn't say anything and simply stared at the man. Not like what he said isn't true. He did look like a mess at that moment.

"Tsk, that bastard...! Arrogant prick who thinks he's better than everyone.", Shigaraki grumbled as he walks out the door. He turned to Puppet, who simply returned the look. "Remember that man's face, Puppet. He should know what happens to those who pisses me."
