I'm a witch, I am related to witches. I can't believe it. I stand up and walk over to Wesley. "Wes, please don't be mad."
He looks at me. "How could mother have not told us?"
"Because she wanted a normal life." He looks over my head. I can see he's having a battle with himself. "Wesley, she needs our help."
"You mean we need her help," Cole says, walking towards the desk.
"What do you mean?"
"My father and the witches have joined forces and they mean to attack the king."
I look at him, my mouth wide open. "We can not allow this to happen," I say with venom. "If they hurt one person I will kill them."
The door opens.. "Oh, she is most definitely Caldina's sister." I turn around to see three witches standing there.
"Sorry, your majesties, but we were wondering if you have any letter you want to write to your parents. A messenger is leaving in two hours."
One of the witches turns to the others, "Ever heard of introducing yourself?" she turns back to us, "I'm Arietta, this is Vivian and Valeska. They are twins." Vivian and Valeska give me a smile and shrug as if to say sorry.
I smile back. "Why do you think I sound like my sister? And why did you call us majesties?"
"Well, Caldina likes to threaten people. And as Caldina is the rightful heir to the throne, that makes you and your brother, princess, and prince." Vivian says.
"Don't forget in two hours I'll be here to pick up any letters," Valeska says, giving us a bow. She and Vivian share a look and walk out.
"Sorry about those two. They are a bit annoying at times, and other times they can be silent and deadly." She bows and walks away, shutting the door behind her.
I shake my head trying to comprehend what just happened. I turn back around to them. "Please tell me I am not the only one confused."
Wesley stands up. "Are we going to write a letter to the king?"
"I don't think they would go that far," Cole says.
"It is worth a shot," Anya says, finally standing up from the bed.
I walk over to the desk and find just what I'm looking for. Paper and pen. "I say we write a letter to the king, Nora, and our fathers."
"Our fathers! Are you crazy?" Wesley says.
"Wesley, they deserve to know why we left." Anya scolds.
I dip the pen into the ink and look at them.
"What do we say?"
After two hours of writing, a knock on the door sounds.
Cole stands up and answers it. Valeska stands there.
"Got the letters?"
I stand up and bring them to her. "Will you drop a letter off for the king?"
"Not possible."
"What do you mean?" Wesley asks, stepping forward.
"He hasn't been seen in four days."
I share a look with Wesley. "Bring the letter to our father's castle. It's possible he is there."
Valeska bows and takes the letters heading towards the stairs. "Oh, Caldina wanted me to tell you dinner is in half an hour."
I shut the door. "Dinner, huh?"
"Well, Princess Juliana, we must get you ready." Anya opens the door and heads for our room. We all stare after her. "Are you coming?" I follow her. When I enter my room two dresses lay on the bed, one a light blue and the other one a light pink. "You take the blue one and I will wear the pink. I nod my head and walk to the washroom. The dress fits perfectly.
