Esta and two others brought us to the dungeons. "Boys stay in cells."

They start laughing.

We both were put into two different cells. The witches leave.

"Wesley, what are we going to do? We have no way to find the girls and no way we can get out of here."

With that, I slam my foot against the wall of my cell and let out a growl. Cole backs away from me and sits on the floor of his cell. I start pacing the floor.

"I have never in all my life watched a human get worked up over the smallest thing like you." A witch with brown and blue hair says. "It's actually funny." She's leaning against the wall flipping a knife from hand to hand.

"What do you want?" I snarl.

"Nothing just to tell you..." she starts to say, putting her hand in the air.

"I will be killed tomorrow, for another moon festival or something?"

She lets out an evil chuckle, "Oh no, just that your sisters are enjoying food, and I was wondering if you were hungry. Believe me, we would treat you a lot better, it's just that we don't trust men."

Cole stands up. "Promise me you won't touch the girls and I will tell you something you will be glad to hear."

"I can't make that promise, but I can promise that food will be brought to you. Don't worry, Sienna has them taken care of."

"Who's Sienna and why should we trust her?" I say, trying to reign in my temper, but having no success.

"Only one of the kindest witches I know. But don't get me wrong, that girl knows how to hit. Now, for the third time are you hungry?"

"Yes," Cole answers for us. "Starving actually."

"Thought so, never known a man who isn't." She chuckles and leaves.

"We shouldn't let them know our weaknesses," I say pointedly, remembering one of the lessons Cole's father had taught us.

"So dying of starvation and leaving the girls alone is better? Not that Jules needs us. She faced their leader like she was nothing but a speck of dust," he says with pride.

I sit down and face him. "Do you like her?"

"Who, Juliana? No. She's your sister."

"Good, one more question."

"Listen, Wesley. The only reason I stood up for her is because she is going through a rough time, and you and Anya aren't helping her. I just thought I would give her the extra boost of confidence she needs."

"So what I saw in the garden a few days ago is nothing?" His face goes scarlet.

"Okay, I might think she's beautiful and has an amazing personality, but I don't like her."

I grunt and smile. "Whatever you say chap."

"What about Anya and you? I know you like her."

I look at him, and I feel my face go scarlet. "Yeah, I like her. She is an amazing person."

"Good, glad to hear that. Just don't break her heart or I will personally make you my target."

"I know. The same goes for my sister." We lock eyes, understanding that we are protective brothers and our sisters always come first.

"Are you two done confessing your love for the other's sister?!" The witch says sarcastically.

"Only if you brought food," I say hungrily.

"Glad to see you have something other than a temper. I brought the same thing your sisters are eating."

"Thank you...?" Cole asks.

"Esta, Caldina's third in command."

"Thank you, Esta." I see Cole's face go a bit red. Oh, interesting. He doesn't like Juliana, he likes the witch. I smile to myself.

"Yes, thank you. I can't tell you how grateful we are."

"Ha, don't waste your lordly flattery on me."

"Sorry."

"Eat, then get some sleep. I can't tell you what Caldina has planned." She leaves, locking a big iron door behind her. The food is amazing.
