Chapter 6

Leo was carving beautiful names on Dante's arm when Noah called him.

"Let's go, you know it's family dinner today," Noah said yawning.

It's been an hour since Leo was thrashing Dante. His anger was so intense that he almost killed Dante choking him, if Noah wouldn't have stopped him on time. Later on, he went on carving words like Pedophile and disgrace all over his body.

Leo looked at Dante whose eyes were closing with the amount of blood he lost. Leo moved towards his ear and whispered " Only if you had kept your hand in your control." Leo moved back bringing out the gun from his back and shooting directly on the wrist of his right hand three times making his hand limp.

"But your brother... said that you'll ....give me an easy death.... if I tell you everything truthfully." Dante stuttered with his teary eyes pain all over his body and blood sipping from his body.

"It was an easy death crackhead," Noah said throwing a bottle at him and leaving the room.

"Let him bleed to death," Leo said and followed Noah.

The room went silent as everyone left and only the blood drops falling was heard.

In Romano Mansion, Alessa was running around while Ethan was chasing her.

"Stop bambina, I'll tickle you to death once I catch you," Ethan said running after her.

Alessa turned back and shows tongue to Ethan "Only if you catch me." She said running towards the main door.

Before she could cross the door, she collided with someone. She looked up to see Leo looking at her with droopy eyes.

"Leo, Noah you both came back," Alessa said hugging both her brothers. But before they could answer she continued " How was your football practice?" She said holding both of their hands and dragging them to the kitchen " You know what, I asked Dad to buy me a t-shirt with your team's name. I will come to support you." She stopped her rambling once they reached the kitchen.

Maids brought dinner for both Leo and Noah while Alessa sat there in front of them looking at them lovingly.

"And you said you have so much homework to do," Ethan said slapping at the back of her head making her glare at him.

"Homework can wait. Can't you see I am spending time with my brothers?" Alessa said making faces at her twin.

Leo noticed their bantering and shook his head "You should do your homework sorellina." He said cutting steak while looking at his sister.

"But I want to spend time with you both." She said with a pout.

"Oh, this pout!! Ask the government to ban these cute pouts. Look I melted." Noah said dramatically "And if my sister wants to spend time with us then we are in." Noah said looking at Leo who didn't defy.

While on the other side, Vivaan was throwing clothes from his wardrobe while his mother was sitting there holding her forehead.

"My love, why are you getting so worked up, it's just a meeting."His mom, Elena said.

Vivaan took a shirt and put it on himself going in front of the mirror " A meeting with Alessa's family."

Elena stood up shaking her head and looked at his wardrobe. Her eyes observed every piece of clothes in the wardrobe and she brought out ashirt pairing it with pants " It's just a meeting still." She said giving the outfit to her son, still not able to understand his reason.

"A meeting with my friend's family. My first friend in school. I am invited to a friend's house for the first time" He said with some longing in his eyes.

The look in his eyes didn't go unnoticed by Elena. She put her hand over his head and looked at him concerned "Are you hiding something?" She asked worried

Vivaan frantically looked at her "No..... no Mom" He replied instantly and took the clothes from her "I am just telling you that this meeting is important for me and special." He said with a smile trying to ease up his mother's mind.

"You can always share anything with your mother," Elena said caressing his head while he just nodded.

"This is it. I am wearing this ." He said putting the outfit aside which was chosen by his mother.

Elena patted his head " Don't get too worked up. There's still 2 days in your meeting and if nothing looks good then we can always buy new clothes for you." She said ruffling his hair making Vivaan nod .She left the room asking him to sleep after helping him tidying up his room.

Vivaan sat on his bed and looked at his phone. He looked at the message from Alessa confirming his arrival. He also got to know that Alessa asked for his favorite dinner too which made him squeal in excitement.

He looked at the picture of Alessa and him, and a smile formed on his face. Finally, he has someone to call as a friend. For him, he only had a person to rely upon apart from his parents which was Aaron but not anymore. He has Alessa too with him and it was enough to give him a new confidence. He smiled at the changing events in his life and thanked God for these beautiful changes.

While in Romano's mansion, all 4 siblings were sitting in the movie room watching a Disney movie as per their sister's demand. Alessa was sitting beside Leo with her head on his shoulder. There was a whole fight about Alessa's sitting map but Leo finally won with his glare at Ethan and helpless look at Noah. Noah understands his brother's behavior and decides to let him have some moments with his sister in the hope of improvement in their relationship.

While everyone was busy in the movie, Leo's mind was somewhere else. He looked down at his sister with the utmost admiration and then up at the movie. He looked at the innocence on her face, deciding to protect her in any and every situation when someone else's face crossed his mind. He remembered the innocence, and fear in that also. His heart was not ready to accept that he could be betrayed but his mind always had an upper hand which forced him to investigate him properly. When he couldn't focus anymore on the movie, he brought out his phone and messaged Samuel to meet him in the garden.

Leo left the movie room making the excuse of feeling sleepy while no one stopped him. But his feet moved towards the stairs and soon enough he was in the garden instead of his room.

Samuel was already standing there with an envelope in his hand clad in an all-black outfit.

"Boss," Samuel said bowing his head in front of him.

"Did you find something?" Leo asked not beating around the bush eager to know about new information.

"His mother is a painter and his father is a surgeon. His extended family lives in India. His family in India is controlling the Indian Mafia." Samuel said the same thing he said before in front of his whole family.

Leo looked here and there fisting his hand tightly showing the restlessness on his face "I already know all this." Leo said "But I want to know something that was not in these papers." He said thinking about why Vivaan was working as a waiter with that bastard if his family was already so well off.

Samuel gulped on hearing the harsh tone "We didn't find anything suspicious but ........." Samuel said and forwarded a piece of paper to him.

Leo looked at the paper and his eyes went wide on the new piece of information "Does he know?"

Samuel looked unsure "There are chances but we are not sure yet."
