He turned back and placed his hand on the back of his neck, saying, "I think this will be enough for proof."

She gazed at the back of his neck and noticed a vertical scar, just like Alvin had. Her mind raced as she thought it over and finally said, "But how? I still can't believe it."

He turned around, meeting her eyes, and replied, "Trust me, it's me. I know we haven't spoken, but I have my reasons for disappearing like that."

Sofia's voice trembled as she said, "Then tell me more about me. The most embarrassing moment I had with Alvin. It was a secret only between him and me."

Without hesitation, he quickly responded, "When we were walking on the road, your blue skirt-" Sofia's cheeks flushed crimson, and she hastily covered his mouth, pleading, "Please don't say anything. I trust you." Slowly, she removed her hand from his mouth, her gaze fixed on his piercing blue eyes. Tears welled up in her eyes, streaming down her cheeks.

She asked once again, her voice barely a whisper, "Is this really you?"

A warm smile spread across his face as he gently wiped away her tears with his hand. "Yes, it is me," he assured her.

Overwhelmed with emotion, Sofia wrapped her arms tightly around him, embracing him without hesitation. He reciprocated the hug, holding her close and stroking her smooth, silky hair with such tenderness that his touch felt as soft as a feather.

As they stood there, locked in a heartfelt embrace, memories flooded back, and the weight of their separation began to lift. The world around them seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of them, reunited after 3 years.

He smiled warmly and gently wiped away her tears with his hand. "Yes, it is me."

As tears streamed down her face. With a shaky, trembling voice, she whispered, "You can't even begin to imagine how much I missed you. I cried so much when I heard you had disappeared. I couldn't help but fear the worst, wondering what could have happened to you. I never stopped thinking about you."

Looking up into his piercing and mesmerizing blue eyes, her voice choked with emotion, she began, "I wanted to..."

But before she could finish her sentence, he gently placed a finger on her quivering lips, silencing her. His voice was soft and reassuring as he said, "Shhh... I know. Okay? I'm here now. Don't worry, and I'm not going anywhere."

Her gaze remained fixed on him, her eyes filled with a mixture of relief, love, and longing. Slowly, she rested her head back on his chest, embracing him tightly as if afraid to let go. In that moment, all the pain, uncertainty, and heartache melted away, replaced by a profound sense of comfort and security. They stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, finding solace in the simple act of being together once again.

After they had embraced for a while, still holding each other tightly, she gazed into his blue eyes once again. Finally, she was reunited with her long-time crush. As she looked at his lips, a strong desire to kiss him welled up inside her, but she held back, speechless and unsure of how to express her emotions.

Sensing her inner turmoil, he spoke softly, breaking the silence. "Well, if you have calmed down, we can talk." She nodded, her eyes were still still fixed on him, and they both settled down on her bed, creating a comfortable space for their conversation.

He noticed his handkerchief resting on the bed and, as he sat down, he gently picked it up and used it to wipe away Sofia's tears. She allowed him to comfort her, her eyes meeting his with a mixture of gratitude and vulnerability. "There you go," he whispered softly.

As he looked at her tear-streaked face, a bright smile spread across his own. "Your face is as red as a tomato," he remarked, his voice filled with warmth. "I'm sorry that I had to meet you like this."

Sofia responded, her voice a mixture of firmness and softness, "Um, it's fine. I was just scared. Everything happened so fast, and I got scared."

He nodded, understanding her fear. "Yeah, I am sorry for the way things unfolded. It wasn't my intention to scare you."

Sitting side by side on the bed, Sofia leaned in to embrace him again, her voice barely above a whisper. "I really, really missed you. I'm so happy right now that you're back."

He held her tightly, cherishing the warmth of her embrace. "I'm glad you accepted and recognized me so quickly, even after disappearing for three years. I never stopped thinking about you."

Upon hearing those words, Sofia's heart raced with anticipation. She yearned to kiss him so badly, her gaze shifting from his eyes to his soft lips and back again. Finally, she mustered the courage to speak softly, "Um, really? You didn't stop thinking about me?"

Calmly, he replied, "No, I lied. I did forget about you for a while, but then I remembered you again. I guess you could say that I forgot about you, but then I remembered you again."

Sofia's heart sank as she looked down, her disappointment evident. "Oh. Um, I guess it's okay. I am glad that you at least remembered me." she murmured, pulling away from their embrace and quietly settling on the bed. She couldn't help but wonder why he had disappeared.

Curiosity filled her eyes as she gazed at him, noticing a scar on his left eyebrow. She gently cupped his face, wanting to take a closer look. Concern laced her voice as she asked, "You've got a new scar. What happened to you? What were you doing after you disappeared?"

He met her gaze, his eyes filled with a mixture of pain and determination.

He let out a heavy sigh and looked away from her. "I had my reasons for disappearing. Trust me, it's complicated, but yeah, I had to go."

She continued to hold his face gently, urging him to look at her. "Don't look away from me. Tell me why you did it. And first of all, what did you do?"

He felt his cheeks flush as her hands lingered on his face. He wasn't used to being this close to her, except for Alice. "Kind of bad stuff and kind of good stuff."

She looked at him, trying to read his expression. She realized that she had been cupping his face for a long time, a warm blush crept up her cheeks and she started to feel embarrassed. She quickly put her hands down and cleared her throat. "I... um... sorry about that... can you tell me about it?"

He met her gaze, his eyes filled with a mixture of vulnerability and determination. "I will only share if you promise me that you won't breathe a word to anyone."

She nodded, understanding the gravity of his request, and a solemn expression settled upon her face. However, before they could delve into the secret, a sudden knock on the door startled them both. Sofia gasped, her heart pounding in her chest, while Alvin, ever composed and fearless, remained calm, his gaze fixed on the door, anticipating its opening.

"Sofia get behind me quickly." Sofia wasted no time, swiftly moving to position herself behind him, seeking refuge in his unwavering presence.
