The Next Day, on the 8th of August, 2095, the Sixth Day of the Nine Schools Competition, the Third Day of the Rookie Event

Aichi and Asuna are heading to the Ice Pillar Break Venue but stop when they come face to face with Masaki and Shinkurou

"I'm Masaki Ichijou, A first year at Third High School." Masaki said

"And I'm Shinkurou Kichijouji, also a first-year at Third High School." Shinkurou said

"I'm Aichi Azumaryu, a first year at First High School." Aichi said, "So tell me, what do the Crimson Prince and Cardinal George want with me before their match?" he asked

"Oh, if you know not only about me but George, too, this should be quick and simple." Masaki said

"Aichi Azumaryu... I believe you are the CEO of ZAIA Enterprise." Shinkurou said, "You and your cousin are the most prodigious engineers in the history of the Nine Schools Competition." he said, "We know it's probably rude to do this before the match, we came to see what you looked like." he said

"I'm humbled to be called a prodigy by the second boy genius who discovered one of the Cardinal Codes at the tender age of Thirteen..." Aichi said, "But you're right, it's unorthodox." he said, "Asuna, go on ahead, you need to get ready." he said

"Sure." Asuna said then she walked off, with her and Masaki's eyes trying not to make things awkward then Masaki turned back to Aichi then noticed Aichi staring at him

"Isn't almost time for your match, Prince?" Aichi asked

"We'll be competing in Monolith Code tomorrow." Shinkurou said, "And I believe you are competing in Monolith Code." he said

"Yeah." Aichi said

"I see." Shinkurou said, "We'd love to compete against your players soon." he said, "Though needless to say, we'd be sure to win." he said

"Sorry to take up your time." Masaki said walking to Aichi's side "We'll be looking forward to the next time." he said then he and Shinkurou walk-off

Later

"Day Six of the Nine Schools Competition!" the announcer said, "Today, the Battle Board and Ice Pillars Break Rookie Events will be held!" he said

Honoka is racing against a Girl from Ninth High and a Girl from Seventh High

"Is it just me..." Erika said, "Or is this, totally freaky?" she asked pointing to the fact that the contestants racing with Honoka are wearing shades "All the players wearing shades!' she said

"Well, why wouldn't they?" Yoshida asked, "To counter Mitsui-san's Optical Magic, it's the most affordable sure-fire strategy." he said then Erika laugh "What's your problem, anyway?" he asked

"Well, because! They're just playing right into Izuku's hand, aren't they?" Erika asked, "I can't believe they'd go cheap and use goggles..." she said

"Do you think she'll try to blind them with the spray this time?" Mizuki asked

"I don't know about that..." Yoshida said, "I just don't see Izuku stooping to a simplistic strategy like that." he said

"On your marks." the announcer said then the referee shot the gun signal for the race to start, Honoka took off late
