"Nothing has changed Rip, a small consequential accident does not change the mindless fuck we had 9 months ago, you can be in her life. We will have Jamie write us an agreement but we are not suddenly playing house with my father on the top of the hill,"  Beth shakes her head while speaking into the phone and hastily packing her belongings.
" I'll speak to my attorneys and fax any information needed to Jamie for him to handle, just make sure to sign the papers. Anything else you need to say talk to him."

Beth presses the end call button and looks at the cooing infant in baby carrier then wipes a tear from her face as she steps closer,

" Us girls have to watch out for each other, ain't that right Addy? Let's get you home."

The elderly nurse walks behind Beth down the hall and assists in carrying their things out the building to their car with the driver inside. She steps closer and slips something in Beth's hands after she places the baby properly in the vehicle. Looking down Beth sees the pale pink leather Bible and a small pink bunny.
She smiles at Beth and says

" Every one of gods blessings should be celebrated, god bless you both."  And gives her a pat on the arm then makes her way back into the hospital.

Beth stands next to the running car for the next few minutes, then at the baby in the car through the window then slowly slides in next to her giving the driver directions to her home in Utah. She shakily wipes the tears that were running down her face and turns to caress the sleeping child's face, " Addy, I'm gonna tell you something my mother told me, and you're not gonna like it, I have to turn you into the man most men will never be, and I'm sorry in advance for doing it, because you're going to hate it, sweetheart. But.... I am going to raise you to know that you were gods greatest blessing that he could have ever given me." She leans in and kisses Addys cheek and picks up her phone;

Beth:
I apologize for earlier, I stand on the fact we are not together but I know that she already means the world to you and I'm willing to figure things out civilly.

Rip:
Thank You.
