I was sitting on the porch of Aaliyah's home for HOURS waiting for her to come to her senses and open the door,realizing she wasn't, I waited for her mom to come home from work But nothing.
I felt like a bitch, and useless, I'd call my friend to stay with him, but he was out of town, and my cousins ain't shit, they right along with Aaliyah,we were all a cousin group, up until they got into highschool, they switched up after sophomore year, Quincy and Taymond started hanging out with the wrong crowd, getting girls and started treating them wrong, I wasn't like that tho, I ALWYAS treated the with respect
That's how my mom taught me before she passed and I had to move in with Aaliyah "Waddup square" I heard a familiar voice say and I looked up seeing both Taymond and Quincy there, I just shook my head up at them "why you sitting out here"Quincy said laughing
"Aaliyah trippin" I said shaking my head "how? What she do?" Taymond said putting his hands in his puffer jacket pockets "She mad at me cause I dropped out of sum she wanted me to do for her, but what she asked me to do was wild" I said shrugging, not really caring, but I needed a home to stay in
They just responded with laughs "yo fault, ima catch you tho, Aaliyah called us over for sum" Taymond said dapping me up and I nodded before dapping my cousins up
I didn't know what to do Then my phone dinged

I smiled before responding to the girl, I felt bad about what Aaliyah made me do, I really hope she can forgive me for what I did

I feel like I should tell her what's going on right now,maybe she'll help me? I mean who else will in this situation? But this ain't a everyday situation

"Hello?" I heard her voice speak, it was so pretty "Devyn? Listen this may come off weird but.." I paused for a bit, this really is awkward for me, and why would she let me stay anyway?? After what I did "yes JayMar?" Her saying my name really did something to me "Uhh" I started off saying feeling a little nervous to ask "is it really that bad?" She said and I shook my head no forgetting that she couldn't see me"no it's not bad but-" I started saying before getting cut of by my cousins walking out
