All typical pre-notes apply, I do not own anyone, don't support toxic relationships, there won't be TW's on the chapter headers so please read the list below.

I have never seen a fic with this premise, that doesn't mean there isn't one. I'm all for showing other authors love in the comments. In fact, I wholly encourage it. Just please don't compare our stories.

An important thing to note is this is major canon divergence. Well known characters aren't what you may assume.
You might think you know who someone is and why they are doing what they do but half the fun is finding out.

There are wizarding political references in this story. You might say "Kavinsky! This is not exactly how the parliamentary system works in the UK!"

To that I say, "I am sorry. I have lived in four countries and England is only the most recent one. Sometimes I get my wires crossed."

TW's include: violence, gore, death, a car crash, smut, arson and emotional manipulation.

Canon timeline divergence:
It is 1979, Regulus Black is, obviously, alive. He is 19 years old. At this time, the Deatheaters are just getting their ducks in a row and haven't committed any overly heinous crimes yet beyond the occasional murder.

As far as I know there is no canon ritual for turning a muggle into a witch. That is all coming from my own head and I do my best to make it succinct enough to have it be sensible.
