'Don't worry,' the cloaked assassin said, coming to a stop before the knight's rigid form. 'I won't kill him. The pain just makes things... a little clearer.' 'And all of this never happened?' 'He won't remember a thing....' ~ For eras, Yggdrasil's chosen had always come when darkness threatened Erdrea. Had always been a herald of light. And where light was, shadows were bound to follow. This was where Kalma came in. The adopted daughter of Mordegon himself, she'd been trained her whole life in both combat and dark magic for one purpose and one purpose only: to find and kill Yggdrasil's chosen. And finally - after a lifetime of waiting - she'd finally get to fulfill it. The Luminary - or the 'Darkspawn', as all of Mordegon's followers had been instructed to call him - been found. Captured. Then lost again within the same day by the unassuming Hendrik. But it was no matter. She'd find this 'Darkspawn' herself. And when she did?
