"Thank you for saving me. And... I'm sorry I didn't know that you saved me..." Eun-gyeol affirmed while Binna gestured, causing him to gasp in surprise upon his realization "It was Yi-chan, wasn't it? It was Yi-chan, wasn't it? It was Yi-chan. Right?" Eun-gyeol asked excitedly, his eyes wide open. Binna confirmed it with a timid smile on her lips, prompting Eun-gyeol to smile back with immense joy

Considerable progress was being made by his parents, requiring minimal effort on his part.

"I want to learn sign language. I want to learn and be able to communicate with my sister. You'll teach me. Right?" Binna inquired, gazing at him with a discernible sparkle in her eyes, as though the mere fact of having Eun-gyeol as a friend granted her a sense of uniqueness

"Yes. I will teach you" Eun-gyeol acknowledged with teary eyes "I'll teach you more diligently" Binna responded joyfully to his words, infecting the him with happiness within seconds

"Should we practice a bit?" Eun-gyeol inquired of the Yoon sisters as the three walked together towards school "I want to be friends with you" Eun-gyeol gestured, while Binna and Cheong-ah mimicked his actions "I want to become close friends with you. Good job" Eun-gyeol attempted to pat Binna on the head, but she evaded his touch with a hint of uneasiness, causing Eun-gyeol to halt his hand midway and smile sheepishly

She did not experience discomfort; rather, the absence of affection had been a constant in her life. Her father's presence in the household was infrequent, and she harbored no inclination to forge a relationship with him. Likewise, her mother had vanished during their early years, leaving them yearning for her support and guidance only to be perpetually deprived of it throughout their childhood.

Upon Ji-mi's arrival from the stationary vehicle, exuding a beaming smile, Eun-gyeol naturally assumed a position in front of the Yoon sisters, displaying a solemn and protective façade, fully committed to shielding them from the malevolent presence before them. While Binna experienced a fleeting moment of unease, she couldn't help but contemplate the audacity of this woman, who portrayed a stark contrast to her truly dreadful nature.

"It's nice to see you coming to school together" Ji-mi exclaimed with a disingenuous smile, igniting a surge of resentment within Binna "Could I see you for a moment before class?"

Binna retrieved her book from the shelves of the petite bookstore with a cheerful disposition. The demands of her role as a designer for Eun-gyeol's band had consumed her time, leaving little opportunity for her to spend with Cheong-ah, who undoubtedly found solace in the embrace of her spacious bed. With a contented spirit, Binna reversed her direction, only to unexpectedly find herself encountering Yi-chan. His enigmatic gaze held an expression that eluded her understanding, yet her heart inexplicably accelerated.

He observed her with an expression of utmost affection, delicacy, and an extraordinary gleam in his eyes, causing Binna to genuinely question the reason behind his peculiar gaze towards her. It distinctly contrasted with the way he used to regard her prior to her unexpected confession, which she was incapable of retracting, yet harbored no inclination to exacerbate the circumstances any further.

In any event, this is the manner in which they found themselves positioned in close proximity, enclosed within a somewhat unsettled ambiance. Grasping the chance, Binna positioned a book in front of Yi-chan, who, without any queries, eagerly commenced perusing the initial page.

"How about this painting for the band T-shirt?" Binna inquired, capturing his attention almost instantly, as he still found it unfamiliar to hear her speak so casually

"My gosh. You have already thought about it" Yi-chan smiled, raising his gaze to meet hers "You want this on a T-shirt?" He gestured towards the drawing on the page as Binna nodded enthusiastically

"It's a painting by Frida Kahlo. She's my favorite artist" Binna commented with a smile, expressing her complete excitement as she discussed her fondness for the painting

"I see. Well... why do you like her?" Yi-chan inquired with avid curiosity, noticing the gleam in Binna's eyes as she spoke of Frida Kahlo

"Because she's strong" Binna signed subtly aiming to bewilder him, ultimately achieving her objective

"Huh?"

"She found beauty in pain and she was strong until the end. Her life tormented her endlessly, but she said, 'screw it' with this one painting" Binna elaborated with a distinct sparkle in her eyes, seemingly oblivious to the magnitude of information conveyed in a single sentence

"With a painting of watermelons? How?" Yi-chan asked with an amused smile

"Look for it. It's hiding inside the painting" Binna directed her finger towards the open book before Yi-chan

"Inside the painting?" Yi-chan, confusedly questioned, to which Binna nodded. While the boy attempted to locate it within the artwork, Binna couldn't help but smile with amusement "What could it be?" As he scratched his head, Binna pointed towards the painting where small black letters remained, spelling out "Viva la vida. What does that mean?"

"Long live life" Binna exclaimed while signing with her hands, which Yi-chan tried to imitate but failed miserably

"The opposite direction?" Yi-chan questioned as Binna stopped him before bursting into laughter "Like this? I'm sorry" they both laughed as Yi-chan continued to mimic Binna's hand movements

Both individuals lacked complete comprehension of the underlying cause, yet their hearts were pounding at such a pace that it was astonishing how they remained oblivious to the sound. Nonetheless, an indescribable sensation lingered in the obscure yet comforting ambiance surrounding them, gradually pushing Binna towards a state of potential madness.

Binna made an effort to disregard the murmurs circulating about her and strive to relish her time with Yi-chan. Nevertheless, she couldn't refrain from pondering whether revealing her feelings to Yi-chan would be deemed as disloyalty given Cheong-ah's emotional attachment to him. The course of action before her seemed uncertain.

Author's note;

I deeply sympathize with Binna. Can you imagine bearing the burden of feeling as a traitor for betraying your own sister by having feelings for the same guy? Can you fathom the unpleasantness of such a situation? 😭 Nonetheless, this circumstance is not everlasting; both must resolve this misunderstanding, unequivocally.

I apologize for the delay; my Viki membership had expired and I was unable to watch the series 🥲However, I have now renewed it and will strive to provide more frequent updates!🌷
