"Mione," Ron said and I looked up from my paperwork I had been studying after Harry and Tom left the office. "Can you tell me if I'm reading this correctly?"

"Reading what?" I asked looking over and he handed me two parchments. "Two birth certificates one with your parents and one with..."

"I didn't misread that," Ron said and I looked up at him before turning to Griphook who was speaking to Remus.

"Excuse me Griphook," I said standing up from the couch and placing the birth certificates on the desk. "Which one of these is the original?"

"Inheritance paperwork?" Griphook said and Ron stood beside me and handed the parchment to Griphook and he examined it before looking at the birth certificates.

"What's going on?" George asked as he and Fred walked over and I waved him off.

"This is the original," Griphook said as he handed two parchments back to Ron. "This is a copy that has no hold."

"So it's fake?" I asked.

"Yes ma'am," Griphook said. "Magical adoption will erase an original document. Blood magic is hard to recreate."

"From the looks of it Molly and Arthur started a blood adoption on you and it was never finished," Remus said and I looked up at him. "I would try to speak with your brother to see if he remembers anything. You would have been a newborn about the time this happened."

"We can speak to Dad," Fred said. "Dad always told up stories about our Uncles but Mum got angry and said to not mention them again."

"Is there a way to get any more information about this?" Ron asked.

"I will have to speak to Ragnook about this as he is the Head Goblin and handles all inheritances," Griphook said.

"Thanks," Ron said I looked at him to see the anger and confusion boiling in his eyes so I grabbed his hand and squeezed it tightly giving him a small reassuring smile.

"Let's put this to the side for right now," I said. "Harry asked about seeing if we could get help clearing Sirius's name. What would be the best course of action for that?"

"I do not know the specifics of the case but he should have gotten a trail," Griphook said.

"I was never given a trial," Sirius said from where he was sitting beside Remus. "The night the Potters were killed I showed after they were killed and I knew who the killer was and I went after him. I failed to catch him and I was thrown in Azkaban for their murders along with the murders of twelve muggles. I escaped Azkaban a few years ago when I found out that the rat that killed them was still alive."

"We weren't able to keep him contained until the Auror arrived so Sirius has been hiding since then," I said. "We all know he is innocent but no one will listen to us."

"The Potters were under a Fidelius Charm when they died," Remus said. "The only way they would have been found is if their secret keeper revealed the address. Those who knew where they were hiding thought that Sirius was the Secret Keeper but Sirius told them to change the person because it would have been too obvious who they choose."

"The first step would be turning yourself in," Griphook said.

"And watch him get thrown in Azkaban again," Ron said. "Yeah, that's a great plan. The minister is a bloody idiot."

"Wait," I said remembering something. "Remember last year with the tournament? Susan's aunt came to speak to us after Cedric's death. She's the head of magical law if we go to her and get her to listen we might be able to get a trail before they ship Sirius back or give him the kiss."

"I forgot about that," Ron said. "That might work but we will need a plan B in case it doesn't work."

"I have plan B," I said smirked and Ron chuckled. "Now we just need to run this by Harry."

"Wait," Sirius said and I looked over to see him and Remus staring at us with confused and slightly terrified expressions. "What is plan B?"

"Don't worry about it," I smiled just as Ragnook re-entered the office and started speaking to Griphook. "Okay, so we need to make a step-by-step on what our plan is until school starts back."

"Let's work on that after Harry and Riddle get back," Ron said and I nodded before dropping back down on the couch and turning my head to see Professor Snape watching us.

"Is something wrong Professor?" I asked, and he shook his head slightly before standing up and walking over to Ragnook and Griphook, both standing by the door.

"Wonder what that was about?' Ron muttered and I shrugged before snatching a blank parchment and a quill off the desk and started writing down a list of everything we would need to do once we left here.
