"Ryan, he asked me to marry him, and of course, I said yes," she says.
"Congratulations," she says, trying not to lose her mind.
"Thanks," she says, hugging her sister.
"I heard the news," her mother says, entering the living room.
"Why am I just hearing about this," Ashlynn says.
"Because your sister wanted to tell you personally," her mother says.
"The fact that was the engagement ring I picked out when I was dating Ryan, and it ended up being my little sister's engagement ring," she says, getting up from the couch.
"Where are you going?" her mother asks.
"To die in my room after what happened today," she says, healing upstairs.
"Ashlynn Grace, be happy for your sister," her father says.
"So happy," being sarcastic
"Stop being sarcastic," her father says.
"Whatever," she says, slamming her bedroom door.
The next day.
"Mom, we're home," Lola and Drew Jr say
"My babies are home," their mother says
"Hi, Mom. It's nice to see you again. Is Ashlynn still here," Lola asks.
"Yes, but she locked herself in her room," she says
"Why?" Drew Jr asks.
"Because guess who's engaged," Rylee says from the stairwell.
"You," he says.
"Yep, and to whom, you may ask," Rylee says
"Who?" Lola says.
"My ex-boyfriend," Ashlynn says from the stairwell.
"Wow, she's back from the dead," her mother says.
"Uhm, ok, that's all types of fucked up," Drew Jr says.
"Real funny, Mom, but my sidekicks are back, so I don't have to deal with this," she says
"Well, I will be back in my room if you need me," she says, returning to her room.
"Where's dad?" Lola says.
"At work," their mother says
"Well, I have to catch up with my girlfriend," Lola says, leaving the house.
"OK, be safe," her mother says.
In Las Vegas.
Drew, Vinnie, and Jared went on a guys' trip to Vegas to escape everything happening at home.
"Yes, Vegas, I needed this trip," Jared says.
"Both of you all needed this trip," Vinnie says.
"What are the plans for tonight?" Drew says.
"Bar and casino," Vinnie says.
At the bar/casino
"Couple shots of tequila," Vinnie says to the bartender.
The bartender gave them tequila shots, and as the night went on, Drew and Jared disappeared off somewhere, leaving Vinnie alone at the bar. Vinnie calls Drew and goes to voicemail.
Voicemail
"Hey, this is Drew. I'm not on my phone, but call me back later."
Vinnie tries to call Jared, but the same thing happens.
