There's a week before summer vacation and I can't wait. The days seem to be passing by slower than usual but I don't mind as I get to spend more time with Jobe.

Isie and I have decided to complete her bucket list during the summer break. We even came up with a new name for her bucket list...The Last Summer. I tried my best not to cry as she wrote the name down in her notebook. For the first time ever, I wasn't excited for the summer vacation, but instead I wished that it never came because this was the last time I'd have my best friend with me for summer.
The days went by and soon it was the first day of summer vacation. Isie and I always the first day of summer vacation at my house, relaxing in my house and today was no different.
Josephine Pov
Jobe was swimming laps in the pool while I just sat under the umbrella watching him. He looked so captivating in the water, like some kind of mystical being.
"Do you like what you see?", he smirked
I just rolled my eyes and continued studying him. I still couldn't believe that I could call this beautiful person my boyfriend, my best friend.
"Let's go to Miss Greenhands", he said emerging from the pool
"As in the flower shop?", I questioned
"Do you know another Miss Greenhands?", he sassed
I just rolled my eyes and he went inside to change.
"So you took that long to change into basketball shorts and a t-shirt?"
"You can't rush perfection, you know"
"If that's perfection, I really don't want to see what imperfection looks like", I teased. Now it was his turn to roll his eyes
We got to the flower shop and to my surprise there were a lot of people inside. Summer romances must be beginning, I thought to myself.
"Don't tell me that we are here to do what I think we are going to do", I said looking around
"If you think that we are going to pick up some things for your flower garden, then yes. We are going to do exactly that", he said as he led me to the seed section of the shop.
"What flowers do you want to grow" he asked
"Forget- me-nots, dahlias, peonies , roses, tulips, dandelions, carnations, mums and gardenias"
"That's a lot of flowers", he said wide eyed
"It's not that much, just the important ones"
We picked out the seeds then we bought some gardening essentials.
"I can't wait to see my babies blossom into beautiful flowers", I said as I watered my last tulip seed
We painted the words J&J Blooms on the arrow shaped sign leading to the flower garden
"We did a great job", I said
"I totally agree with that"
"I need you to promise me something"
"Anything"
"Promise me that you will look after the flower garden after I'm gone, especially the roses...I won't be here to see them bloom", I said
"I promise", he smiled and pulled me in for a hug
"I love you so much", I hugged him tighter
"I love you way more, always and forever"
