Eden woke up early in the morning, still having a smile lingering on her rosy lips from the night before. Her and Fred managed to get back to the castle before curfew, avoiding any questioning from professors. As she rose from her bed, Eden quickly took a quick shower, washing away the remnants of the night before. After rinsing off, she stepped out of the shower and brushed her teeth, ensuring that she was fresh and ready for the day ahead.

To wake herself up further, Eden splashed her face with some cold water, shaking off any remaining sleepiness. She then made her way to the vanity in her room, where she used her wand to cast a drying spell onto her wet hair. With a few flicks of her wand, her dark strands soon dried, leaving her locks sleek and smooth. She decided to put her hair up into a messy bun for the day, scraping her hair upwards and tying it up into a bun. She pulled a few strands of hair out to frame her face.

Now that she was ready to apply her makeup, Eden began by shaping her eyebrows into an arch. She carefully brushed through them, ensuring that they were well-defined and perfectly manicured. Next, she applied some moisturizer to her face, carefully massaging it into her skin to keep it hydrated and glowing.

Eden slipped into her Slytherin uniform, rolling her skirt up a few times to make it more suited to Eden's style. She put on her shoes and sprayed some perfume, finally feeling ready for the day.

To finish off her look, Eden added a delicate necklace, completing the ensemble. With her bookbag in hand, left her dorm and made her way to the Great Hall for breakfast.

Eden walked into the Great Hall and noticed Draco sitting alone at the Slytherin table, his head resting in his hand as he pushed food around his plate with his fork. The sight caught her attention, as she usually saw Draco sitting with Hermione at the Gryffindor table. Curiosity got the better of her, and she glanced over at the Gryffindor table, waving to Fred as she walked over to Draco's side.

As she sat down next to him, Eden couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. Draco seemed distant and troubled, and she couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. She poured herself and him a cup of tea, knowing that it was his favourite.

"Is everything okay, Draco?" Eden asked, sliding the mug of tea in front of him.

"I'm fine, thanks." He spat out, his tone dismissive.

"That's believable. Tell me, please." Eden asked, her voice soft and sincere. She genuinely wanted to help if she could.

"I doubt you'll even listen, you will just be thinking of Fred." He muttered, standing up abruptly and grabbing his bag. Without another word, he walked out of the Great Hall, leaving Eden alone at the table.

Eden felt a mix of confusion and concern wash over her. She had never seen Draco so distant and cold. He knew that her relationship with Fred was important to her, but she couldn't help but wonder if there was something deeper going on with Draco.

After Eden finished her lessons for the day, she needed to speak with Draco. It had been killing her all day not being able to speak to him and find out what was wrong with him. She couldn't stop thinking about the comment he made about Fred, she didn't understand what he meant by that. She decided to head straight to his dorm and see if he would open up to her and tell her what was wrong. Knocking on the door, she waited for a few moments before Draco finally answered.

Opening the door, she found him sitting on an armchair in the corner of his room.

"Can you tell me what's wrong? Please" She begged.

"Just leave, Eden." He whispered, fidgeting with his fingers, unable to look her in the eyes.

Eden threw her bag down next to the door. "I want to know what's happened!" she exclaimed.

Draco looked at her with a questioning expression. "Can you tell me the last time you had a conversation with me?" he asked.

Eden furrowed her brows. "What? We spoke yesterday!" she replied.

"That wasn't a conversation, you said hello to me and then had to leave for your lesson. My point is you don't speak to me anymore, you're always with Fred. You weren't like this with Adrian." His voice rose with each word.

"I was never in a relationship with Adrian!" Eden matched the pitch of his voice. "Of course I'm going to be spending more time with Fred, he's my fucking boyfriend, Draco!"

Draco groaned and pleaded quietly. "Just fuck off, Eden. Please."

"No, I won't. I don't understand." She lowered her tone.

"I know that you two are in your honeymoon phase and want to spend more time with each other, but that shouldn't stop you from seeing your friends. I wouldn't let mine and Hermione's relationship get in between our friendship, and you shouldn't let yours get between our friendship either." Draco spoke.

Eden took a deep breath, she understood what he was saying, completely. She sighed, sitting down on his bed.

"I'm sorry, Draco, I didn't even think. I promise you this will never happen again, pinky." She said, holding out her pinky finger to make a pinky promise.

He looked at her finger, showing a small smile after a moment. He leant forward and intertwined their fingers. Eden quietly laughed and pulled Draco into a hug.

"I love you, Draco. I'm really sorry."

"It's okay, Eden." He smiled, kissing the top of her head delicately.
