"Did you find out who was behind the blast".
"No".
"Hm".
I am talking to bhaisa about the blast that happened in one of our godown which contained weapons . This is getting serious , I have to look into this matter . Someone has blasted our 2 FUCKING godowns and we can't fucking find out who were they or I think I know who is behind it .

"There's something you need to know".
Suddenly Bhaisa said making me came out of my thoughts and passed me his phone towards me.
"What" I asked
"Listen to the second recording". He said

"WHY I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS".
I shouted .

"Keep your voice down shiva , he told me to not tell you but still I'm telling you , knowing how he is ".
He spoke calmy .

I took a deep breath to calm myself.
"Why he isn't dead yet". I asked

"He's minister of ruling party , we can't kill him over a small threat".
Bhaisa said making me more angry .
First blast then threat to kartik.

"I can do that bhai , you know how kartik his , this museum is his dream project and you know it well , I don't want any disturbance in it".
I said

"I know and we'll find a way ,killing is not a fucking way for everything shiva . You better step out of this now, if kartik got to know about it god knows what he'll do".
He said and I know he's right but I can't quit this easily , not before killing those bastards . I know kartik will not love me when he'll know that I have blood on my hand , maybe he'll hate me . Gosh .

"I'll see this minister bhaisa you find soon about the blast".
I said and stood up .

"I'll find and where are you going".
He said and stood up with me .

"To papa".
I said and smiled

"Oh my is the ice queen smiling, I can see kartik is doing good job".
He teased making my smile widened just by his name .

"God Shiva you're whipped".
He said laughing hard .

"Shutup and I want the file about Chaudhary tomorrow morning"
I said and moved out of his office .
Sometimes he's annoying.

I went downstairs only to see my dad , mom , dadu and kartik laughing and eating cookies , probably they're made by dad . He makes best choco cookie 🍪. My mum is not so good cook but my dad is best chef. I sometimes say him to open his own restaurant but he denied saying he's getting old and now needs to enjoy with my mum. They're so much in love with each other . I admire them .

"Shiva come here why are you standing there".
Dad called making me come out my thoughts.

I went towards them and sat beside dadu making him pat my head lovingly and I snuggled into him.
We all talked for sometime and I completely ignored kartik , I need answers why the hell he didn't told me anything about this .

"Dadu we have to leave , I have some work".
I said
"Still a workholic , give sometime to your husband too shiva".
Mom said teasingly.

"Mom we spend time together but that doesn't mean we have to leave work . I have to much work in my plate".
I said irritatingly

"Abhi you seeing na how she's talking now , she changed after wedding ".
Mom said dramatically.

"I can see that pri , she's didn't even miss me nor she Calls Me and on the top of that you see how she's CUDDLING dad she did it with me only".
Dad also joined mom , gosh they're cute but annoying sometimes .

Kartik and dadu giggled at their antics , we all are used to it they both are like this only , always behave like kids , but they are strongest they have seen too much in their life but never leave each other .

I stood making everyone look at me .
"What , stop looking at me like that I really need to go and I'll come soon".
I said and hugged mom dad and dadu.
Kartik was still sitting on the couch beside mumma and looking through his phone still silent .

"Kartik". I said but he still didn't said anything.
"Karu beta". Mom called him loviny and he looked at mom .
"Huh". He said
"We have to go". I said
"Oh yes , I'm sorry I was looking at something". He said but I know something is bothering him .

"It's oky beta , come back soon".
Mumma said and kissed his head .

We both came outside the palace and went towards our car . Kartik opened the door for me and we both sat inside and he move his side . We then both went towards our house . He didn't holded my hand during the drive , so I pulled his hand I intervined with mine and kept in my lap.

We reached our house and he parked the car . I was waiting for him near the door . He came and looked atr and said,
"You going to office". He asked
"Noo". I said
"But you said you have work to do".
He said and opened the door . We both moved Inside.
"I said but work can be done from house also". I said and he nodded and went inside washroom to get changed.
I waited for sometime and he came and sat beside me on sofa and placed his head in my lap.
"I want to talk to you". I said
"Hmm, I'm listening baby". He said
"Why didn't you told me that , that minister is giving you threats about the place". I said straightly because I can't talk on riddles.
He sat straight and looked at me ,
"Ho..how you know". He said
"That doesn't matter , why you haven't shared the matter with me kartik". I spoke coldly.

"That's nothing serious shiva, I'll handle it". He said looking at his lap.
"Sure you'll do but atleast you should share with me". I raised my voice and he looked at me .

"I'm sorry baby don't get angry".
"You should be sorry , and I ain't angry but upset because you didn't consider me anything that you didn't told me about it".
"Stop talking nonsense Shivani , you're my everything. I was just thought that you maybe scared after knowing this". He said making my eyes go wide .

I said hugging him close to my chest and he nodded.

"Come now let's sleep, I have some important meeting tomorrow".
I said and he picked me up and kissed my lips.

We went inside the bedroom and he removed my clothes and removed his shirt making me wear it and throwed me on bed and I bounced back . He came beside me and pulled me towards him , and covered both of us with sheets . His face was dipped in my chest and one hand under my neck and other Between my thighs.
And with my we both drifted into sleep.
