But then one day on Christmas Eve, something bad happened, Buddy got in trouble at work and it made Walter snapped and disown him

"Hey Buddy" Michael said but no response "Buddy?"
Grace spotted the New York snow globe and the etch-a-sketch that has a note on
"Michael, look" Grace said and they read the note
I'm sorry I ruined your lives and crammed 11 cookies into the vcr. I don't belong here. I don't belong anywhere. I'll never forget you. Love, Buddy
"Where can he be?" Grace asked Michael
"C'mon" Michael said to her as he took her hand and left the apartment
Meanwhile at the Empire State Building, Walter and come workers were at a meeting with the CEO named Mr. Greenway
"As you know, we need a big launch, fast, to get the company back on track. So I think I speak for my fellow board members when I say, this better be good" Mr. Greenway said
"Before I get into the story, let me start with the cover, okay?" Walter said "now, just picture this..."
"Dad! We gotta talk to you" Michael said as he and Grace went in
"Michael, Grace, what is it?" Walter said
"Buddy ran away" Grace said
"What?" Walter asked
"He left a note" Michael said "I'm scared, Dad. He's gone"
"Let me just finish this meeting and then we'll figure it out, okay?" Walter said
"Figure out what?" Michael said "Buddy cares about everybody. All you care about is yourself"
As Michael and Grace were about to leave
"Hey, Michael, Grace. Wait" Walter said to them and to Mr. Greenway "we're gonna have to reschedule this, Mr. Greenway"
"We don't have time to reschedule. I wanna hear the damn thing now" Mr. Greenway said "kids, you'll have to wait"
"No, don't tell the kids what to do" Walter said "can't we do this another time, Mr. Greenway?"
"I flew in just to hear this pitch and I intend to" Mr. Greenway said
"It's gonna have to wait" Walter said
"If you wanna keep your job, Hobbs, you will pitch me this book right now" Mr. Greenway said
"Well, up yours" Walter said
"Yeah, up yours" Michael said
"Hey" Walter said and he walked away with Michael and Grace
"Hobbs! Hobbs! Hobbs! You walk out of here and you're finished at Greenway!" Mr. Greenway said "you're finished!"
