Grace's Adventure In Elf

Chapter 2

Grace came out of the light and when she saw the light disappeared, she turned around and noticed that she's in New York City

She looked around and she saw Buddy excitedly enters a shop with neon sign: World's Best Cup of Coffee

"You did it! Congratulations!" Buddy said "World's Best Cup of Coffee. Great job, everybody. It's great to meet you" then he ran out of the shop and Grace started to follow him

As Buddy looked at the snow globe that his Papa Elf gave him and it sees the Empire State Building is the same one, so he went closer to it

As Grace was following him, there were a lot of people we're crowded around her and she lost sight of Buddy

"Get out of the way, you little brat" one grumpy man said as he pushed her to the ground pretty harsh and walked off

Grace started whimpering and said "I don't like this adventure"

"Little girl, are you okay?" Buddy said as he came to her and helped her up

"Yeah" Grace said as she wipes her tears

"My name's Buddy" he said "what's yours?"

"Grace" she introduced herself

"Are you lost?" Buddy asked "where's your mommy and daddy?"

Grace went silent for a few seconds and said "I don't have a mommy and daddy, they died when I was a baby"

"Oh, so you're all alone, huh?" Buddy asked

"Yeah" Grace sighed

"C'mon, you can come meet my dad with me" Buddy said as he took Grace's hand and took her to the building

They went in, went to the elevator, then a man came in, pushed a button and it made Buddy curious. Buddy pushed a button and he decided to push all the buttons

"Looks like a Christmas tree" Buddy said to the man

"Oh boy" Grace embarrassed

And then they made to the floor where Walter is

"Sorry I can't ride with you the rest of the way up" Buddy said to the guy as he and Grace came out of the elevator "but this is where my dad works"

"Well, have a good..." The man said and the elevator door was closing

"Oh, I forgot to give you a hug!" Buddy said but the elevator door was closed

Buddy and Grace walked around and saw a female secretary named Deb on the phone and so they came to her and she hanged up as they were in front of her

"I'm here to see a Walter Hobbs. I'm Buddy the Elf" Buddy said to the secretary

"You look hilarious! Who sent you?" Deb laughed

"Papa Elf" Buddy said

"Papa Elf?" Deb asked

"Mm-hmm. From the North Pole" Buddy said

"From the North Pole?" Deb asked

"Yes" Buddy said

"Mr. Hobbs? It's me on the intercom" she said in the intercom "yeah, I think some one sent you a Christmas-gram"

Then his office door was opened and Buddy saw his father

"Dad!" Buddy said

"All right, uh, let's get it Over with" Walter chuckles

"I walked all day and night to find you" Buddy said

"Uh, you look like you came from the North Pole" Walter chuckles

"That's exactly where I came from. Santa must've called you!" Buddy said in excitement

"Oh, yeah, sure, he, uh... Just got off the cell phone with me" Walter said

"You did?!" Buddy gasped

"So, go on. Go on with what? Well, are... are you gonna sing a song or something" Walter said "or can I just go back to work?"

"A song? Uh... yeah. Anything for you, Dad" Buddy said and he started singing "uh... I... I'm, I'm here with my dad and we never met and he wants me to sing him a song and, um, I was adopted but you didn't know I was born. So, I'm here now, I found you, Daddy and, guess what? I love you, I love you I love you!"

"Wow, that was weird. You know, usually you guys just uh, you know, Put my name into jingle bells or something"
Walter said

"It's me, your son. Susan Wells had me" Buddy explains "and... And she didn't tell you, and, and, and, but now I'm here... It's me Buddy"

"Susan Wells. Uh, you said Susan Wells?" Walter surprised

"Yes" Buddy said

Then Walter saw Grace at the doorway and said "why is there a child there?"

"Oh this is Grace, she's with me" Buddy said

"Who sent this Christmas Gram?" Walter asked

"What's a Christmas Gram? I want one!" Buddy said

Walter whispers to Deb "I think we should call security"

"Good idea" Deb whispers

"I like to whisper too!" Buddy whispers as he went up to them

"This cannot be good" Grace said
