When the store was closing, Buddy and Grace were still in there starting to decorating the store
A while later when Buddy was decorating, he noticed Grace fell asleep on the Santa chair, he went to her, gently picked her up and carried her to where the mattress is. He laid her down on the mattress, gets a blanket, he tucked her in, gently rubs her head and left to continue the decorating
In the morning, Grace woke up and started to see customers coming, so she got out of bed, putting the blankets away so nobody would be suspicious and she went off to find Buddy
Then she found him talking to Jovie so she went to them to join their conversation
"How come you were in the women's locker room these morning?" Jovie asked Buddy
"Huh?!" Grace confused
"I heard you singing" Buddy said
"You sure it had nothing to do with the fact that I was naked in the shower?" Jovie asked
"I didn't know you were naked" Buddy said "why were you here so early?"
"They shut my water off" Jovie said "why were you here so early?"
"Building this" Buddy said
"You built this?!" Jovie asked
"Hey, I helped too" Grace said
"Yeah but then you fell asleep" Buddy said to Grace as he rubs her head
"They're pissed at this" Jovie said
"Really?!" Buddy asked
"Hey guys, you seen the place?" The Manager said when he came to them "pretty good, they must have brought in a professional. I dunno why, but someone's gunning for my job. But look, let's stick together on this. If you get wind of anything, call me on my radio. Channel three, code word is Santa's got a brand new bag, okay"
"Okay" Buddy said
"Six-inch ribbon curls, honey" the manager said to Jovie
"That's impossible" Jovie said
"Six... inches!" The Manager said and he leaves
Jovie sighs
"By the way... I think you have the most beautiful singing voice in the whole wide world" Buddy said to Jovie and she smiled a little bit but then he turned and saw the Gimbals Santa walking by "Santa..."
When Buddy was going after him, Grace said "wait Buddy!" and she ran after him
"Hey! Ho, ho, ho!" Gimbel's Santa said to the children and the children cheer excitedly
"Santa! It's me, Buddy! It's me!" Buddy said
"Hey, Buddy. How you doing?" Gimbels Santa said as he sat on the Santa chair and an store elf places a little boy on his lap
"Santa, it's me!" Buddy said but his excitement and enthusiasm fades away as he grimaces at him "who the heck are you?"
"What are you talking about? I'm Santa Claus" Gimbel's Santa said
"No, you're not" Buddy said
"Uh... Why of course I am! Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho" Gimbel's Santa said
Grace came up to Buddy and said as she grabs his hand "Buddy come on"
"Well, if you're Santa, what song did I sing for you on your birthday this year?" Buddy asked
"Um... Well, Happy Birthday, of course!" Gimbel's Santa said and he turns to the little boy "ho, ho, ho! So, uh, how old are you son?"
"Four" the little boy said holding up 4 fingers
"You're a big boy. What's your name?" Gimbel's Santa asked the little boy
"Paul" the little boy said
"And, uh, what can I get you for Christmas?" Gimbel's Santa asked
"Paul, don't tell him what you want. He's a liar!" Buddy quietly said to Paul
"Let the kid talk" Gimbel's Santa said to Buddy
"You disgust me. How can you live with yourself?" Buddy asked
"Just cool it, zippy!" Gimbel's Santa said
"Buddy don't do this" Grace begged
"You sit on a throne of lies" Buddy said to Gimbel's Santa
"Look, I'm not kidding" Gimbel's Santa said
"You're a fake" Buddy said
"I'm a fake?" Gimbel's Santa said
"Yes" Buddy said
"How'd you like to be dead?! Huh?" Gimbel's Santa said
"Fake?" Paul confused
"No, he's kidding" Gimbel's Santa said to Paul
Buddy sniffs at him and said "You stink"
Gimbel's Santa said as the elf takes Paul off his lap after a picture "I think you're gonna have a good Christmas, all right?"
"You smell like beef and cheese, you don't smell like Santa" Buddy said
"Ok" Gimbel's Santa said
Buddy accidentally rips off the beard of Gimbel's Santa, and gasps. The kids scream in horror
"HE'S AN IMPOSTER! HE'S NOT SANTA!" Buddy shouted
They get into a huge brawling fight, with Buddy getting body slammed into decorations
"BUDDY!" Grace screamed as she goes to them
But then they accidentally pushed Grace, made her fell and crushed into the decorations and the toys
The Gimbel's Santa angrily smashes Buddy's designs; the manager saw the commotion and starts tackling the Gimbel's Santa to protect Buddy
"He's not Santa Claus! He's not Santa!" Buddy said
A while later after Buddy was taken by the police, Jovie pushed the toys out of the way to get Grace
"Grace! Are you okay?" Jovie asked her as she lifted her off the toys
"Yeah the toys broke my fall" Grace said and she started searching for Buddy "where's Buddy?"
"He was taken to the police" Jovie said
"Oh no, I better go" Grace said "nice to see you, Jovie" and she ran off to find Buddy
