"God, Thats us," Matt exclaimed, a mix of excitement and nervousness coursing through his veins.

A deep sigh escaped Londyn's lips, laced with a tinge of annoyance. "Must be nice," she muttered, her tone dripping with sarcasm, unable to conceal her disdain.

With a gentle touch on her shoulder, Camry offered reassurance, "Maybe next year."

Londyn, unimpressed, rolled her eyes before she and the remaining six Elite non-qualifiers departed from the studio. As the 8 entered studio B, a wave of enthusiastic teens followed suit. Standing in a single file, the teenagers positioned themselves at the back, while the younger kids occupied the front. Coach Lotus cast a final glance at the outside world before shutting the door and making her way to the front and center.

"Alright, listen up! Time is of the essence because our little ones need their beauty sleep," Coach declared, his gaze fixed on the four members of the mini team, witnessing yawns escaping from half of them.

"We have four magnificent Minis, two exceptional Juniors, eight extraordinary Elites, and eight sensational Seniors who have emerged victorious out of a staggering sixty five contenders. You all are truly blessed. Now, let's delve into the realm of routines..." Coach Lotus beamed, his words fueling the mounting excitement in the atmosphere.

"Now, my dear Minis..." Coach approached them, drawing nearer and crouching down to meet their eye level.

Coach Lotus beamed as he announced, "The dance you all will be performing is titled 'Eyes Wide Open', a captivating lyrical group routine. Additionally, we have a special solo performance dedicated to my sister, Gigi." The coach's words brought a delightful excitement to the young dancers, causing 5-year-old Gigi to wiggle with joy while the older teens showered her with warm smiles.

With a smile still on his face, Coach Lotus continued, "Gigi, your solo routine is called 'Sweet, Sugar, Candyman'. It's a lively jazz routine that perfectly suits your vibrant personality." Gigi nodded eagerly, her happiness shining brightly for everyone to see.

"Alright," Coach declared as he rose from the ground. "Moving on to our Juniors," he directed his attention towards the sole pair.

"The two of you will be performing a Jazz duet titled 'Clap Snap'. It exudes a remarkable level of sassiness and carries an abundance of attitude," Coach Lotus elucidated, to which the girls responded with nods and beaming smiles.

And finally, with a triumphant grin, Coach Lotus declared, "Lastly, my Seniors and Elites."

"Kayla, Skylar, Harper, and Zoey," Coach announced, igniting a spark of excitement within their souls, "Prepare yourselves for solos."

As these words echoed through the room, a cascade of radiant smiles illuminated their faces, each one brimming with anticipation and sheer delight.

"And there will be a group dance, but we're trying something new," Coach declared, his voice filled with an air of mystery, causing the teens to exchange perplexed glances.

But then, like a bolt of lightning, he revealed the details that sent shockwaves through the room. "The Juniors, Seniors, and Elites will be in the group dance," he announced, his words resonating with excitement. "That's ages 12-18, and the style is hip hop."

The moment his words left his lips, the air was filled with pure screams of unbridled joy. The teenagers had never experienced anything like this before - they were going to Nationals with hip hop! The excitement was palpable, and their hearts were beating so fast they thought they might burst with happiness.

Coach Lotus let out a chuckle upon hearing the responses, but his expression quickly changed as he glanced at his watch.

"Alright, listen up everyone. Kayla, Sky, Harper, and Zoey, each of you will perform a Contemporary solo. Kayla, your solo is titled 'Bring Me Home'. Sky, yours is titled 'The Hidden Dark'. Zoey, your solo is actually called 'Zoey's song', although it's funny because the song doesn't mention the name Zoey at all." Coach Lotus rambled on, his words flowing like a river. Zoey couldn't help but chuckle, finding humor in the irony of it all.
