It was almost 11pm when I finished my work. Tomorrow we have an important meeting with Mr. Parker. Everything is ready as I don't like mistakes

So, I am Ruhi. I shifted to New York for my studies and established my company here. A&N Company is one of the topmost companies in New York. Well, I am from Rajasthan,India but due to some reason I came here.

I left my cabin and startedmoving towards the parking area. Lights of mostly all cubicles is off. It's late I know but I don't have anything or anyone to return early to my house. Mr. Sharma came after I sat in my car. He has been like this from the past few months. He always leaves the company after me so if I need any help he can be there.

"Good night mam, drive safe" Mr. Sharma said with a bright and charming smile. I didn't find most of the smile genuine. People used to smile and talk sweetly with me to get their intentions done. But by looking at Mr. Sharma I knew if he smiles then it's from his heart. His eyes and heart are pure.

"Good night Mr. Sharma" I said and moved out of the parking lot. I didn't knew why I was returning to my house. I had no reasons to live except my company and two close people.

I reached my mansion. It radiated power and wealth. Just a status symbol. It lacked warmth of a home which I had lost 6 years ago. But I never want that home again in my life

I directly walked to my bedroom. I ignored all the things on which I spent more than half my money. It didn't attract me.

Dinner was already set on the dinning table as I walked towards the kitchen. I silently sat there having my meal alone. No one to talk or speak about my day. I was again drowning in my thoughts when suddenly a ring disturbed me.

I checked the caller id and a wide smile replaced the usual frown. I picked the video call and smiled brightly at him.

"Hey Aaditya, how are you? Why didn't you call me when you reached California? I was so tensed you moron. And when are you returning back? Did you have your dinner? Everything is okay right? You called at this time so I hope you are fine?" I ranted to him

"Calm down my buttercup. How can answer all these questions in one go? Well, actually I forgot to charge my phone so I couldn't connect to you. I will be returning day after tomorrow. Once this deal is signed. And yes I had my dinner. Everything is perfect. Anyways I have you what would happen to me?!" He answered calmly. He knew me well to understand my concern. I only had few people to call has mine. I smiled

"That good to know Coco" I said and started laughing seeing his face. Aaditya is my childhood bestfriend. We were the most craziest trio who did alot of pranks in school and used to get scolded. Aarushi, Aaditya's Twin and the most silent person of our group. But she didn't chose me. But he did. He trusted me enough to support me. After our boards Aaditya had come to New York for further studies. We somehow lost touch but things and situations changed and he helped me. I am forever grateful to him
