"Thank you for not making this difficult." Nayeon is actually glad that Y/N isn't taking this further but one part of her is actually sad that Y/N is giving up so easily. She can tell that Y/N knows that she's lying so why is she just accepting this so easily? Did perhaps Y/N not have fun herself? Is she actually the one that doesn't want for them to continue dating? If she did want this then she would have tried to change Nayeon's mind right? Why isn't she protesting?

"You're welcome. I guess that's my cue to leave right?" Y/N stood up after finishing her drink. "It was nice meeting you and although you don't want to see me again if you ever need me for something, don't hesitate to contact me." And with that Y/N left leaving Nayeon all confused. This was not the reaction she expected from Y/N however this reaction works in her favour. Did is what she had wanted so she has no right to complain.

---------------------------

Three weeks have passed since Nayeon gave Y/N her answer. Y/N knows very well that Nayeon lied to her. She knows that Nayeon liked the date and that that kiss meant something to the both of them however Nayeon still decided to lie.

Y/N is sure that there's a reason behind it. Something is holding Nayeon back but Y/N didn't want to question the cashier about it because she knew that Nayeon wouldn't want to talk about it.

Nayeon isn't the only one that lied though, Y/N lied too. She said that she would never show up in front of her again, but she did. Nayeon broke her promise meaning that the deal is off and that Y/N has no promise to keep anymore. Yes she did tell Nayeon that she accepts her answer but that was because she didn't want to fight with her at that moment.

Y/N kept her promise for about one week and didn't show up in front of Nayeon however for the two weeks after that she showed up every day at the convenience store waiting to talk to Nayeon after her shift.

Of course when Y/N showed up Nayeon got mad and told her to leave. She kept saying that she didn't lie and that the date wasn't fun to her and that she doesn't like Y/N. However Y/N didn't give up, she kept showing up everyday after Nayeon's shift with Nayeon mostly ignoring her and leaving. There were also a few times where Nayeon completely lashed out on her but Y/N simply just won't give up.

"Oh unnie, she's here again." Chaeyoung told her colleague when she saw Y/N waiting outside.

"Again? Fuck why can't she just listen to me and stay away? This is getting out of hand."

"Don't you think she's doing this because she actually cares about you? She's been showing up for like two weeks now."

"I don't know why she keeps doing this." The older woman sighed. "I told her some really hurtful things yet she keeps showing up." This is making it really hard for Nayeon. Y/N saw through her lies and keeps on insisting for Nayeon to tell her the truth but Nayeon just can't. It's hurting her to have to reject Y/N like this every single day but she has no choice. She just wishes Y/N would stop.

"She clearly loves you." Chaeyoung chuckled.

"This can't go on like this, this has to end." Nayeon said in an angry tone and went outside.

"Why the fuck are you here again? How many times should I tell you to leave me alone?!" Nayeon yelled at her.

"Until I actually believe you want me to leave you alone."

"Are you stupid? What more can I do to show you that I don't want you around me? Why do you have to make things so difficult for me? You're making both me and my colleagues uncomfortable by doing this every fucking day."

"I told you a thousand times why I'm doing this. I know you're doing this because I'm a cop and I also know that there's a reason why you hate cops. I won't leave until I find out why you hate me so much." Y/N crossed her arms.
