Maralyne

Dear Maralyne,
I write to you this note,
but I am not myself to gloat.
Soon, I shall go to bed
and shan't rise with sun,
for the Angels await me.
Soon, my ghost will awake
in a land without seas,
a land without memories.

Dear Maralyne,
sweet, innocent Maralyne,
kind heart I called mine.
Maiden whom never lived,
whom never seen light,
herself glowing most bright.
Words of wisdom for you:
to forgive is to love,
and I forgive you.

Dear Maralyne,
shores of happiness,
tainted with my cockiness.
Pain of apathetic world
happily seeping into bones,
and I cannot breath.
Epiphany, Epiphany,
scents of marigolds of Maralyne,
marigolds of funeral goodbye.

Dear Maralyne,
await me no more.
I soon depart harsh World War.
I leave tonight forever
with Angels of September
to a realm without memories.
Marigold scented hair
I shall finally touch
if I remember you.

~Yours truly,
Maralyne
