There is a point in every man's life where he can't hide the truth anymore

I don't know how he knew, but somehow he knows that Aria is MY daughter

This can't be good at all

"H-how did you know?" I tried to sound calm but I couldn't help but stutter

"Alright kids, come on, let's go" Adam pushed the kids away and I couldn't help but mutter a thank you to him

When they were gone, I turned my attention to Ender who was staring immensely at me

"Answer the question" I said once again trying to sound strict but my voice came out shaky which earned a smirk from him

He knows he still has an effect on me

"The last time I remember, you didn't answer my question, so why should I answer yours?" he said

Touché

"Just answer the question Ender" I said calmly so that I don't get him pissed

I need to know how he knew

"Well apparently, after you left the human world, I was summoned by the council and they told me that some test results came from the hospital and it concerns you" He explained

"How did they get a hold of the result?" I asked confusingly folding my arms

"They have someone who works in the hospital you took the test in" He said stating it like it was an obvious fact

"Matter of fact, they have people in every hospital in the human world" He said shrugging

"So then what?" I asked curious

"Let's just say that the result read that you were pregnant" He said giving me a death glare

"Oh" I said lowly

"Who's the father Emily?" he asked calmly but I could tell he wanted to yell at me

"None of your business" I said walking away, but before I could fully get away from him, I felt a hand tug me backwards and my back came in contact with Ender's chest

"It's my business Emily. Did what we share that night mean nothing to you?" He whispered into my ear with an angry tone

I would have immediately pushed him, but I was frozen because being this close to him is reigniting that bond between us

"I know I still have as much effect on you as I did before, so why are you trying to fight it Emily?" He whispered, putting his hands around my waist, pulling me towards him

"That night was a mistake, you practically forced me" I said but it came out barely as a whisper

"But you were the one moaning and shouting my name that night "He said and I couldn't help but shudder when his lips came in contact with my neck

His mouth kept nibbling on my neck and when he came to the sensitive spot on my neck, I sucked in a breathe and shut my eyes

Why wasn't I stopping him?

Stop him you fool!!!

"Ender you need to stop" I shakily said still keeping my eyes closed

Immediately he stopped, releasing me from his hold, he stepped in front of me smirking

Dammed, I gave him the reaction he wanted

"So, let's go to the kitchen, I'm also hungry" He said still smirking

I don't mind wiping that smirk off his face with a slap

I just rolled my eyes and walked away

More like stomped because I am frustrated right now

I knew he was following me because I could hear his footstep

"Can you stop following me like a lost dog?" I asked turning to face him

"I AM a lost dog since I don't really know my way around this house" he said walking past me

"But I can just follow their scents, it's pretty strong" Ender said still walking

I had to run to catch up with him because he was walking too fast

I guess he was really hungry

Getting to the kitchen, we saw that the kids were already eating peanut butter and jelly and each of them had a glass of milk with them

Aunt Tania was also in the kitchen with them

"You smell familiar" Aria was the first person to notice us since she was already done, but how can she say someone she is just meeting today smells familiar

Well duh, you just met him like five minutes ago

"Oh really?" Ender said looking amused

"Yeah" she replied taking the last sip of her milk

I felt embarrassed when my stomach growled showing how hungry I was, right now, I can eat anything

Ender just chuckled as he shook his head

"Is there anything available to eat Mrs.-"He said waiting for Aunt Tania to say her name?

"Tania" Aunt Tania responded

"Mrs. Tania please is there anything to eat because someone present in this room can eat the wall if it were made of food" He said looking at Aunt Tania, who looked amused by what Ender just said

The kids all laughed leaving my face to turn tomato red from embarrassment

How dare he?

"Sure, I think there are some left over in the fridge, let me microwave it" Aunt Tania said moving to the fridge and getting some food out of it before placing them in the microwave

Ender and I both took our seat on the kitchen counter

I sat close to Aria while he sat close to Deborah or Deb for short

Deb is one of the pack warrior daughter and she is also Aria's best friend

Her dad is one of our strongest warriors

Immediately Aunt Tania brought the food out of the microwave, our security alarm went off

We are under an attack

Why now when I'm about to eat?
