EMILY'S P.O.V

As the days go by, so does my love for Ender grow

It's been a month now since I last went to Ender's house

Unfortunately, the journey to his family house is a really long one

So, he decided to finally come to my house for the assignments... At least something made him come

Even though Ender has been coming to my house for like a month now- Even when we don't have an assignment- my mom is still not fond of him

Ender and I have both gotten closer during this one month

I even introduced him to my best and childhood friend.... Peter

Peter is a really nice guy.... I have known him all my life but i don't think Ender likes him that much because Peter keeps flirting with me

I personally don't see anything wrong in him flirting with me since i basically do the same with him

After Peter came to the human world, he began attending my school.... And somehow he managed to fit right in

"Are you coming for prom?" Ender asked me as we were heading for lunch

"Not really, i don't have a date to the prom" I said hugging the books on my hands closer to me wishing he would ask me..... Please ask me......

"Oh, well too bad...... I already have a date but i was thinking that after the prom we could go on a double date, but since you don't have a date and probably would not come..... No problem" He said

'Wait what? He has a date... Who?' I asked myself ... But later figured out i asked that out loud

"Hmm... Well, she is a really good friend of mine" He replied, smiling

"Oh... Friend of how long?" I asked slightly disappointed

I took my seat at our favorite spot in the cafeteria... Wayyyyyy at the back

I took out the lunch my mom packed for me

They wouldn't stop bothering me over my 'crush' for Ender

"I've known her for a very long time, like 30 years" He said also taking his seat

I tried to see if he would bring out his lunch ..... But he didn't

If he keeps this up... People would think that he is weird

I decided to just continue with the initial discussion

"Meaning she is also a vampire?" I asked taking a bite out of my apple

"Yeah" He replied, stealing my fries

I thought he does not eat

I pouted at him but he just rolled his eyes like he didn't do anything wrong

"What school is she attending?" I asked making sure i didn't sound jealous

Before Ender could respond, Peter sat on the seat next to mine.... Before placing a hand on my shoulder

"What's up?" He asked casually

"Nothing much, just talking about prom" I responded, taking the last bite out of my apple

"Oh, i don't even have a date yet" He said sounding sad

"I don't either" i tapping him on the shoulder as a way of reassuring him that he wasn't alone

"Will you be my date to the prom?" Peter asked excited causing Ender to choke on the water in his mouth and then he started coughing..... Causing all eyes to be on us
