Chan woke up and realized that he was hugging SuNoo, while SeungMin hugged him from the other side, forming a fort of protection for the little boy. He smiled and felt nervous at the same time.

Chan had left home at the young age of 18. His mother wanted him to study business administration in order to take over the family business. Being the only heir, she expected Chan to become her successor. But that was not the blonde's dream, his dream was to be an architect and one day be able to build a big house for his family. When his mother found out about the boy's plans she cut off all financial support and did not let his grandfather intervene. Chan mustered up the courage to fight for his dreams, he got a scholarship and a job to get ahead. A friend taught him how to tattoo and although he was very good at it, maintaining a good clientele was not what he wanted to do for the rest of his life.

It's been about a year and a half since his last roommate finished his degree, he decided to look for a new one and that's when SeungMin entered the story. At first he thought it was funny that the boy's cheeks were so chubby, then he thought it was funnier to make him angry and turn his cheeks red. From day one a rivalry began between them, they argued for any reason, but when one of them felt sick they helped each other without stopping the bad words.

Maybe it was a strange relationship and deep down it was difficult for him to admit that he felt a certain attraction for SeungMin's chubby cheeks or perhaps for SeungMin.

Now it wasn't just SeungMin and him, now there was also Yeon Jun, JeongIn and SuNoo, now they were his responsibility, he had to be a good example and give them all the love that his parents denied him, and that his mother had denied him.

SeungMin stirred and slowly opened his eyes. Chan would put SeungMin's sleepy face on the list of his favorite things about the boy, obviously if Chan had a list, which he clearly doesn't. SeungMin was a little disoriented for a few seconds, then he looked at Chan and SuNoo, at the last he smiled at her.

-And there isn't a smile for me? -Chan asked looking at him.

huffed-Haven't you left yet?

He looked at the clock on the wall and realized that he had to get up to hand in the last assignment that would finally give him his degree.

Can you make me breakfast? -She asked, covering her face with her big hands.

-Not even in dreams. "Better get up so you don't wake up SuNoo," the black-haired man murmured, closing his eyes again.

Sigh. She got up and went to her room as stealthily as she could, Jeongln and YeonJun were still sleeping soundly. He picked out her clothes and went straight to the shower to get ready. When Jeongin came out he was sitting on the bed while he rubbed his eyes.

"Hello kid," he greeted.

"I'm hungry," the boy whispered in response. He let out a small laugh, YeonJun was still sleeping.

-Good. Come, let's fill that stomach," she offered him her hand and the boy gladly took it.

In the kitchen I prepare cereal and milk, and for him a coffee with milk. They both sat in silence while eating breakfast.

How do you feel? -he dared to ask. She did not know how much the abandonment and abuse of her parents had affected them, which is why they had to take them to the psychologist who had been requested by the social worker. She felt anger for her parents, in this life it is better not to have children than to be bad parents.

"Good, now my tummy is satisfied," he replied smiling, which made the blonde smile.

SeungMin stared sleepily at Jeongin.

"Ouh, I thought they would sleep in," he said walking towards the kitchen.

"I think I'll continue sleeping, I was just hungry," JeongIn clarified, his face still showing sleep.

"I think it's a wonderful idea, because I'm not a very early riser." He began to prepare milk in a strange Batman glass that he didn't know why they still had.

"They call him the lord of the night," Chan joked.

"Half man, half animal," SeungMin replied, very focused on what he was doing

"Half squirrel, half orangutan," she whispered with her flirtatious smile. SeungMin narrowed his eyes at him.

"I'm going back to bed," Jeongin said walking towards the room.

Who is the milk for? -Chan asked, starting to wash the dirty dishes.

-Obviously for SuNoo. "Remind me to buy her a bottle or a more decent glass, please," she whispered, finishing preparing the milk.

-I'll buy it, don't worry. SeungMin nodded.

-I'm leaving, today I have to hand in my last assignment-SeungMin nodded again-Goodbye my husband.

"Bye-bye butt face," SeungMin responded, walking towards the room.

Marriage love.

"So...you two just pretended to be a couple by staying with some kids you don't even know," his friend JiSung summarized.

- Yes, yes - I confirm.

-And how the hell are they going to do it so as not to fight every two seconds in front of those children? -He asked, puzzled.

"Hey, we can be without fighting," he assured.

-You don't even believe that.

-What if the parents return? -ChangBin asked.

-First of all, he hit the father. Those damned people abandoned their children, they mistreated them, those people cannot be called parents. Plus, SeungMin and I are much better caregivers than they were in their entire lives," he assured.

-And you're going to use this as an excuse to finally confess to SeungMin? -JiSung asked, waiting for an affirmation.

-And who told you that I liked SeungMin? -He acted offended.

-What you see does not ask.

Chan glared at his friends. He obviously didn't like SeungMin, for any reason and in any alternate universe.
