The next day. Zee woke up with a smile on his face as he remembered what happened last night. He took his phone which was charging on the bedside table and looked at it. It's already 9am.
"I wonder if he's awake already" Zee then sent him a message
👨🍳🌞 Morning. Hope you had great sleep
Zee then got out of the bed and got changed. He decided to burn some energy that he has before eating breakfast by going on the threadmill. He turned the radio on and hopped on the threadmill. 20min on, and Nunew's Cutie Pie was playing on the radio when he received a message.
😎🔆 Good mornimg Hia. Thanks and yes I had a nice sleep. How come you're so up early?
Zee rang Nunew as he cant be bothered texting while walking on treadmill
Nunew was still in bed covered by his blanket when Zee rang him.
"Why is he ringing me this early? It's just 10am." Nunew complained before he answers the call.
When he picked up Zee's call. He instantly recognized the song playing in the background
Why am I hearing my own song? Nunew thought
"Hia, are you listening to the radio?" Nunew asked
"Yep." Zee answered shortly
"Can you tone it down a bit? I just woke up and its blaring in my ears." Nunew complained
"Wait. Sorry. Is that better?" Zee asked after he tone down the volume of his speaker
"Yes thank you. But what hell are you doing at 10am that warrants blasting music from the radio?" Nunew asked
"Im on the treadmill" Zee said to him
"Early, way too early." Nunew tells him
"It's not early. It's 10am already. And dont you like the song? I thought a lot of people love this. This is from the Nunew guy right" Zee asks
Nunew guy. My god. If you only knew who you're talking to. Nu thinks in his head
"Its not about the music Hia. It's the volume. Have you gone deaf?" Nunew tells Zee. Nu hear him chuckling.
"Are you still in bed then?" Zee asked
"Ofcourse. My bed and duvet refuse to let me go" Nunew tells him
"Oh so you're being held hostage by them then? Do you need rescuing?" Zee asks him.
"No need. Im being held captive all in my own accord" Nunew said as he rolls in his bed.
"You just need motivation to get up" Zee tells him as he stops walking in the treadmill and wipes his sweat.
"Nothing will make me get up this early. Even earthquakes" Nunew tells him
"Not even pancakes?" Zee asks him.
"Ha! As if i have the patience to do them. Most importantly as if I have the skills." Nunew said as he covered his head with the duvet
"You dont. But I do" Zee tells him
"Yes. You do. Obviously." Nunew says to Zee
He still doesnt get it. How obvious should I be? Zee said in his head
"What im trying to say is, would my invitation to have brunch be enough of a motivation for you to get up?" Zee tells him
Nunew sat up quickly on his bed.
"You're making us pancakes in the restaurant?!" Nunew asked
"Im not opening the restaurant for brunch Nu. We're having it upstairs" Zee laughs at him.
