49. Teddy

Looking at my hand.

The same hand which he twisted badly and left scars.

Red and Blue.

"Amrit fucking Shekhawat has so many diamonds. So fucking many. He has so many illegal guns and weapons."

He started to speak.

"Two of my men disguised as his to get those weapons and details. But that bastard killed them."

"I seeked revenge. Bad revenge. For killing my men."

He came towards me and held my hair harshly.

Forcing me to look in his eyes.

"You know I how bad I felt when you threw away that teddy. So I brought you here. Close to me."

His grip on my hair tightened.

"Wh-what teddy?" I asked.

"The one I gave you at that night fare." He said.

"Aah that, I never took it out of-"

"Out of the car. I know Little one. You threw it away."

He said and held my throat this time.

He is a bipolar?

Moments back he was feeding me politely and now this.

"I do-n't kn-ow what y-ou are talk-ing abo-ut" I said.

"It had a fucking microphone and camera I know what you did."

"I did-n't." His hold on my neck tightened.

I was not able to breath.

"Ab-abhay l-ea-ve m-e"

He didn't.

"I-can-" and my words couldn't be completed as his grip tightened even more.

But suddenly he left me.

"It was him." He said in a dangerously cold voice.

I was breathing heavily.

My heart was beating so fast.

"He will pay for this."

"Rabb ji ajj pata lag gya, tusi mundeyan nu dimag naal ni baksheya. Ik banda insta te ghatiya messages bhejda ai te duja teddy ch camera paunda ai."

(God I have got to know today. You haven't given brain to boys. One sends stupid messages on insta and other one puts camera in teddy.)

"I will cut your tongue into slices if you speak in Punjabi again." He said coldly.

I smiled.

And then there was my Amrit. Learning Punjabi for me.

"You should be glad you caught my eye. Girls drool over me. And here I am choosing you."
