The past couple of weeks have been spent in Portland. Diana and Klaus have been turning as many hybrids as they can, with the news of Mikael coming around again they couldn't be more careful.
Diana had talked to Rebekah every night to stay updated on what was happening in Mystic Falls and she informed her about the save Elena squad trying and failing to get Stefan to turn his humanity back on along with Damon trying to seduce Rebekah multiple times.
Just the thought of the elder Salvatore laying his filthy hands on her sister was enough to make Diana fume and Rebekah had to talk her out of coming back to kill him.
While Klaus was more focused than Diana on turning the hybrids, she did the spell to find the remaining members of the Audovera pack and managed to track them to South Dakota. With the threat of Mikael more prominent now Diana decided it would be best if she stuck with Klaus for a while at least until they get Mikael off their scent again or manage to find some white oak to kill him.
Which they haven't been able to find in a thousand years.
So now that she's pinned the pack down she knows that she can go find them at anytime, her next step until then will be to find the heart of a virgin which shouldn't be too hard.
"Diana!" Klaus exclaimed gaining her attention from where she was lounging in her hammock
"What?" Diana asked as Klaus marched over to her
"We're going back to Mystic Falls. They daggered Mikael." Klaus said making Diana jerk her head to look at him in shock
"Come again?" Diana asked and Klaus huffed
"Stefan told me that he was daggered and Rebekah confirmed it. I told them that I wanted to see proof so we're going back." Klaus said and Diana slowly got out of her hammock
"This doesn't feel right Nik. How many centuries have we spent afraid for our lives because of him? We are the strongest people on this fucking planet and you're telling me that those band of idiots were able to do in a day what we haven't been able to do in a thousand years." Diana said shaking her head, this wasn't right she had a sinking feeling in her gut and that feeling was never wrong
"Rebekah confirmed it Diana. She wouldn't lie about something like that. We're finally safe, we can wake our family and focus on getting William back now." Klaus said holding her shoulders and that's when she could see the hope in his eyes
