"Fuck!" I muttered under my breath and immediately bent down to pick it up.

As I was fetching my phone, a saw a big, veiny hand hurriedly grabbing a book- 'What we see in the stars' it said.

I looked up to see who it was and I was immediately greeted by a very handsome face. He had those pretty eyes, which appeared to be grey at first and the next second, they were sea-green. He had strawberry blonde hair and a perfect hairline. He had a chiseled jaw which was adorned with a light stubble and it refined his facial features.

He grabbed his book and stood up. I too picked up my phone and got up, finally getting a full view of his body and oh boy, was he handsome. He was taller than me, standing atleast at six feet tall. His body was lean with a package of big muscles. He was a beast of a man to say atleast and looking at his posture, it appeared to me that he was a military man. He was wearing a polo T- shirt which showed his muscled arms too good and trousers and a pair of chelsea boots along with it. His chest and abs were clearly visible in that filthy T- shirt of his and my mind imagined his torso beneath that shirt.

"Sorry, I should have looked where I was going", he said, in a low but firm voice.

I realised I was looking at him with my mouth open and how stupid I must have been looking. I quickly cleared my throat and said,

"No, I am sorry, I was engrossed in my phone", my voice didn't come as I expected it to.

A slight smile appeared on his full lips indicating that he found this situation somewhat... Humorous?

We both stood there for some seconds in some awkward silence, he was looking directly into my eyes.
The air around us was filled with some unusual tension with both of us standing there rooted to our spots. I finally decided to speak.

"So, what we see in the stars huh... I have read that one", I said in somewhat firm voice. I don't know why but the way he was locking his eyes with me, it sent shivers down my spine and I couldn't find my voice.

"Yeah, I am currently reading it. You know this is my favourite place to come and read. It helps me clear my mind. Seems like you are into astronomy too."

" Yes, a lot, since childhood. This is my comfort place too." I replied.

It felt so easy sharing my thoughts with him.

He didn't say anything further. Instead he crossed his arms over his chest while holding onto the book and leaned his shoulder to the wall besides him. He then sighed and a wide grin spread across his face, showing his dazzling white teeth and said in a soft dreamy voice while looking at me contentedly,

"I have never met anyone as beautiful as you."

I was taken aback by his words, did he just say that to me?

"Excuse me?" I said.

"You heard me right Miss-?" He said in a Rather questioning voice.

"E-Eda Yildiz"
Why the hell am I stuttering?

"Beautiful name, Eda Yildiz."

The way my name rolled-off from his mouth did something to me.

I couldn't bear the tension between us anymore, so I decided to leave.

"Pardon me, I have to leave"

With this said, I turned and walked past him. However, he then said something to me, that made me stop dead in my tracks.

"We only part to meet again, Eda Yildiz. See you soon." He said in a confident voice and then walked away.

His confidence left me speechless.
How the hell was he so sure that we would meet again?

I decided to ignore it and then walked towards the exit, completely forgetting about the meeting, with only him on my mind.

End of Flashback

I don't know why, but I was still holding onto his words after our strange interaction. And here I was today, sitting in front of him.
Is the Universe playing some kind of tricks on me?
I mean come on, at that point of time, the probability of us meeting again was nearly 0. We were just two strangers who met accidently in a library and struck up a convo.

Hell, I didn't even ask his name!!

I was brought Back to reality by the shouting of some soldier. I focused on what was in front of me. The beast of a man, was lying in front of me.
I have to admit though, even being injured and getting shot in the shoulder, he was still looking handsome, much more than the last time I saw him. He was in his army uniform which made him look even more hot.
He was slowly gaining his Conciousness. The first few buttons of his uniform were undone, giving me a nice view of his Chest and those sharp abs.

How could someone look this hot during an injury!?

I decided not to look up at him or I would soon be drooling. I continued to do his bandages on his arm. It was indeed a deep cut but he wasn't showing any signs of pain.

After I was done, I poured some water and gave him some painkillers.
During this whole time, I could feel his eyes on me.

Fuck!

I asked him to take his meds, while holding the glass for him. He didn't do anything for a few minutes, so I asked him again, a little louder this time.

His eyes trailed off me and then he tried to sit up. My hand reached out to support him almost as a reflex action but I stopped myself immediately.

Thank god he didn't notice!

He sat up straight and and took the glass and meds from me. Our hands brushed a little and it sent shivers down my entire body. I Withdrawed my hand as soon as possible.

After he was done, I took the glass from him and set it beside, trying my best not to look into his eyes.
His eyes were still lingering on me, taking on my every action. I quickly got up from the chair and moved to other injured soldiers.
I made a mental note in my mind to ask my colleagues about him as I had just joined the special forces.

I didn't want to leave him like this, neither could I see him grunting and wincing in pain. Although he tried his best not to show but, I could read him easily.

Afterall he was The Captain... He couldn't show his pain to anyone...
