a/n:
after a spell of one shots, i have finally decided to overcome my laziness and write a novella. from the brief one-liner synopsis you must have read before checking out this foreword, you will already know that this story revolves around chess. it is not necessary to know chess or chess moves while reading this novel. that is only a very small part of this novel, which mostly revolves around the romance of the two leads. you can just skip the chess game bits.
but with that said, for all those interested, i will be adding clarifications and explanations about the chess moves and other chess related terms at the end of each chapter. if you have a chess board at home, you can try to replicate the moves to understand what is happening :)
most of the games are inspired by the games i play online regularly.
here's a question before you hop into the next chapter: how did you find this book?
hope you enjoy the novel
[warning : this book is super fast-paced. like unrealistically fast- paced :) ]
happy reading <3
