On the next day, Tony came back home to see Cindy with a heavy hangover. He asked Jake what she was drinking and he happily explained everything. He spared him the detail about the conversation they had about Ian. Him and Vergilia agreed during their late night talk that neither of them will mention it. Jake was really amused with the information he knew. "Beloved son, a joke of the year." Jake thought to himself as Tony and Cindy were arguing.

During the day Cindy's daughters paid them a visit again, much to Vergilia's displeasure. Vergilia couldn't believe that suddenly the older of the sisters started learning German, just like Jake. Or more like she pretended to. And she tried to imitate the accent, which just sounded cringy and annoying to Vergilia. That lasted until the evening.

Vergilia and Jake were sleeping, when they heard loud music and the car's horn. Tony looked through the window and said it was his friends. They parked in front of the house and demanded him to open the door, sounding completely drunk. Jake pulled Vergilia closer and propped himself on his elbow, kind of shielding her with his body. He watched his father as he walked up to the door and yell through it to them to leave, because his son was at his house. Jake assumed there was at least four of them there.

Jake saw red when his father opened the door. He jumped out of the bed and stood in the middle of the room, creating a boundary between them and Vergilia.

-That's Ian's brother? - one of them said. - And look at that hottie there!

-You will stop where you are, or you will count your teeth on the floor. - Jake warned. He was angry and fired up with adrenaline. - Other option is to leave.

-No, no, we came for some fun! - said other one and tried to get past Jake.

Jake didn't waste any time. With a quick and skillful punch, he had the first one down on the floor. Before anyone was able to react, he send the other four to the ground. Then, he grabbed one of them, and threw him out through the open door. The rest followed the same way. In the end Jake shut and locked the door, before he called the police. Fifteen minutes later the men were arrested. Jake and Tony told them whatever they wanted to know, before they left with the arrested men and their car.

-You didn't have to beat them up. -Tony scolded Jake, making his anger rise up. He grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, and pushed him against the wall with murder in his eyes.

-I should beat the hell out of you too.- he growled. - If any of them laid their finger on Vergilia I would rip that finger off and stick it so far up in their asses it would come out with their mouth! How dare you to put her in danger?!

-They wouldn't do anything! - Tony argued. He tried to break free, but Jake was too strong. He never saw his son like this.

-Just like you wouldn't if they attacked Vergilia or Cindy, what the fuck were your thinking?! - Jake yelled, his fist punching the wall next to his father's head, leaving a hole in it.

Vergilia walked up to Jake and rubbed his back, soothingly. Then she pulled him off his father gently and hugged him. He was shaking. Tony tried to grab Jake, but that was a wrong move. Vergilia slapped his face, shocking both Sanders'.

-Do it again and I will hit you back. - Tony threatened her.

-Touch her, and I will break your hand.- Jake glared at his father. - And if I forget myself I may even go for your neck.

By that time Cindy walked out of the bedroom and held Tony back from charging at Jake or Vergilia.

-Jake, come to bed. - Vergilia said, taking her boyfriend in her arms again. - Tomorrow we will pack up and go back home.

-I'm sorry for all the scare. - Jake answered and squeezed her tight.

-I'm not scared. - Vergilia shook her head. - I won't let you come here again, you were right. Your father isn't the best role model to say the least.

In the morning Vergilia and Jake put their stuff in the suitcases. They didn't eat breakfast, they just left with Jake throwing one last line to his father as he walked through the door.

-Don't ever contact me again. - he said, voice cold and still holding a trace of anger.

Jake took their suitcases in his hands and carried them to the nearest bus stop.

-I'm sorry for taking you here. - Jake said, looking at the ground. - If something happened to you, I would kill those bastards with my bare hands, then probably end myself.

-Nothing would happen to me. - Vergilia answered. - Last night I wasn't scared, because I was sure of you. It's way stronger than just trust. I know that you won't let anyone hurt me, my handsome cuddly Rottweiler. - she added and pecked his cheek. Jake couldn't help but smile lightly. - And I'm sorry for pressuring you to introduce me to your father.

-You were curious. - Jake shook his head. - It's normal that you wanted to know him. Now we are going home, we will have some time to rest our heads after all of this.

They made a stop at the store to get something to eat, then they reached the bus stop. They at their fast breakfast and got in the bus, once the one they were waiting for came.
