𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐤𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠

Just as Diana spoke Elena pushed the double doors open before registering Diana and Klaus standing in front of her. Her heart stopped for a moment before beating as fast as a rocket, a terrified expression taking over her face.

"There's our girl." Klaus spoke

"Klaus! Diana!" Elena gasped trying to turn back in the direction she came from but instead bumped into Diana's chest

"Now now. You didn't really think you'd get away with that, did you? I think it's time you come with us." Diana smirked gripping onto her arm and shoving her in Klaus's direction

"You are supposed to be dead. What are we going to do about that?" Klaus asked holding her at arms length

"I have a few ideas. None of which are particularly pleasant. Well for you at least." Diana smirked poking Elena's forehead making her flinch

"Please let me go." Elena begged and both siblings chuckled

"Not a chance love." Klaus said before starting to drag the doppelganger through the hallway with Diana walking behind them. "You put a rather large kink in our plans, sweetheart. The whole point of breaking the curse and becoming a hybrid was to make more hybrids. we haven't been able to do that. Now my bet is, it has something to do with the fact that you're still breathing."

"If you're going to kill me, just do it!" Elena exclaimed trying to pull out of Klaus's grip

"Oh honey, you must know what happened to Katherine when she went against us. 500 years of terror and looking over her shoulder just waiting for us to strike her down. Now I suspect there's something wrong with our ritual since you did indeed die, you being alive now shouldn't effect our hybrids since we did everything right. Unfortunately for us until we figure out exactly why our hybrids failed we can't kill you yet." Diana explained hearing Elena's breath hitch in fear

"But my sister and I have ways to make you and everyone you love suffer." Klaus smirked shoving Elena into Diana's arms who gripped her tightly making Elena wince in pain

Klaus walked ahead of them and shoved the gymnasium doors open letting them bounce against the walls. There were a few students inside setting up more pranks who jumped at the intrusion and immediately turned their attention the the trio.

"Attention, seniors. You have officially been busted. Prank night is over. Head on home." Klaus spoke in an American accent making Diana grimace

"I'm so glad you're not American. That accent is dreadful." Diana commented

"You and I both sister." Klaus spoke in his normal voice before turning his attention to two of the students his eyes lighting up in recognition. "You two. I remember you."

"I'm sorry. Who are you?" The girl asked with furrowed brows

"Oh, don't worry, I wasn't in my right head last time we met." Klaus waved her off and Diana realized that he must've met her when he was in the body of the history teacher. "Lift your foot up, please, Dana."

The girl, Dana complied though she didn't have a choice. Klaus then turned his attention to the boy standing next to her.

"If she drops her foot, Chad, I want you to beat her to death. Understood?" Klaus asked and Chad nodded
