No.45 Victorian London

In shadows of disdain, Victorian London thrives
Where destitution's plight in darkness contrives
Inequity's chains bind, as no one's soul is free
Inborn destinies dictate, a cursed reality

Desperate cries echo, through cobblestone streets.
Hopelessness lingers, where despair and gloom meets.
Lost beneath the fog, a society's defeat.
Wretched souls wander, their lives incomplete.

In soot-stained dreams, innocence oppressed,
Children's cries lost in gifts' charade, a haunting jest.
Injustice thrives, sinister hearts devour the tender,
Eternal cycle of pain, their progeny surrendered.
