Slowly growing braver each day,
Bonding with dogs in every way.
No more fear, just love and fun,
My heart and soul are finally won.Terrified of hounds,
Arms crossed, heart pounds.
Slowly they approach.
Breath catches in my throat,
But then a wagging tail,
And a loving dog's exhale.
Comfort and trust now found,
Fear of him no longer bound.A loyal companion with fur so bright,
Eager to please, always in sight.
A black and white coat, like a tuxedo on paws,
Full of energy, never with flaws.
This dog is a treasure, a loving friend,
Bringing joy and happiness, till the very end.A cow doggo with spotty fur,
Black and white, it does concur.
Big brown eyes and a wagging tail,
A loyal friend that will never fail.
