Dani woke up the next morning with a little more enthusiasm. Today is the day she will meet Miyeon for lunch to talk about what Dani dubs "The plan." A broad smile spread across Dani's face as she leaps out of bed to get ready. As she was getting dressed, Eunchae started to stir from her sleep and asked groggily, "Unnie, what are you doing? It's Sunday."
Dani felt guilty for waking her and whispered, "Sorry, Manchae. I'll try to be more quiet." She finished getting dressed and tiptoed towards the bathroom.
Dani stood in front of the full-length mirror and scrutinized her reflection. Her gaze lingered on the dark circles under her once bright hazel eyes. She observedhow her once plump cheeks had become hollow, and her clothes hung loosely on her shrinking frame.
Then Dani shifted her attention to her outfit, hoping it would at least make her feel better. As she gazes at her reflection in the mirror, she can't help but feel something is missing. After contemplating, she returns to her shared room and quietly rummages through her stuff. Finally, her eyes fall on her beloved octopus necklace and a stylish black hat. She eagerly puts them on and admires her reflection once again. "Ah, now it's perfect!" she exclaims, beaming with satisfaction.

Then she goes downstairs. She's not surprised anymore to see most of the girls awake and chatting in the kitchen.
Chaewon's eyes widen as she takes in Dani's appearance. "Ooo, Dani-unni, you're looking great! Have you been hitting the gym or something?" she exclaims, her smile widening.
The opposite actually. Dani rolled her eyes at the compliment. "Thanks, Chaewonnie," she says, trying to play it cool. "I just got a new outfit."
"Ah, I see," Chaewon nods knowingly. "You got a hot date?" She asks with a mischievous grin.
Dani feels her cheek getting redder at the thought. "I wouldn't call it a date," she says quickly. "Just two friends catching up."
At that moment, Yunjin chimes in, her voice hopeful. "Dani-unnie, are you going back in time to help me with my music?" she asks, her eyes pleading.
Dani gazed at Yunjin with a thoughtful expression on her face. "I should be back by 3. I can help you after dinner!" She said as she looked around for her inhaler. Once she found it, she remembered something. "I have to help Eunchae with her science project." She said then let out a sigh.
Yunjin's expression immediately turned to disappointment, her shoulders slumping down. "That's fine, Unnie," she said sadly. "Manchae's schoolwork is more important anyway."
Dani rolled her eyes and playfully flicked Yunjin on the head.
"Ow!" cried Yunjin as she rubbed the sore spot on her head. "Why did you flick me?" she asked confused.
"I didn't say I wouldn't help you, Jinnie," Dani said with a smile. "I'll grab some dinner while I'm out, and when I come back, I'll help Eunchae with her project since it won't take that long. Then I'll help you," Dani explained while gathering her things into her bag.
