Tejasswi ’s pov

All the after marriage rituals were done.. all went back to their rooms.. i removed all my accessories and set my stuff properly.. and slept quickly..

I woke up at 7 next morning.. i got up and after getting freshened up.. i went towards the kitchen.. karan’s mom was already there..

“Arey Tejasswi .. tum uth gyi..” she said and kissed my head

“ab apni aur karan ki coffee bna lena.. main baaki breakfast dekhti hun.. tum dono ke jaane tk toh bnega bhi nhi.. and voh mr perfectionist aane bhi wala hoga..” she said and just then

“Mom.. meri coffee..” karan shouted while coming down and i chuckled while she looked at me with ‘i told u so’ face.. karan came in the kitchen

“It’s okay aunty.. main sandwiches bna leti hun fatafat..” i said and she relaxed

“Help kr tu uski..” she smacked his back and went out while he looked at her with a pout.. he came inside and cut the vegetables for sandwiches while i made coffee and prepared the bread.. I made sandwiches and after having our breakfast.. We both quickly left for the office..

I went in first and after 5 minutes he came in.. we went back to our professional modes except for the lunch time when we had our lunch together..



Karan’s pov

It has been almost two weeks to manav bhai’s wedding.. currently he was enjoying his honeymoon.. me and Tejasswi  have fallen into a very comfortable space with each other.. I don’t know why mom called me a little early today.. i entered and she made me sit on the couch.. dad sitting at other couch in front of us..

“Karan..” she started and i rose my eyebrows

“tu shadi karle..” she just shocked me to no extent

“What ?” I said bewildered

“mom you know..” i wanted to day further but she didn’t let me

“Karan it’s high time you let someone in.. yhi time for you to get married.. and who better than Tejasswi ..” what even

“Kon?” i asked just to confirm what i just heard

“Tejasswi ..”


“Karan.. Tejasswi  is just perfect for you.. sbne dekha hai tum dono ek saath kitne comfortable ho.. kitne pyaare lgte ho saath mein.. saath mein kaam krte ho.. ek doosre ka schedule pta hai.. and usse zyada tere gusse ko bhi kaun hi smjhega” she said and i agree to all the points but seriously.. shaadi ?

“I don’t know mom.. you know I can’t handle a relationship..” i said and she rolled her eyes

“Stop it karan.. stop underestimating yourself.. you’re the best son..” papa said and i closed my eyes

“tu bs haan ya na mein jawab de.. baaki..we know ki tu smbhal lega..” he said

“Haan bolunga toh?” I asked

“We’ll be the happiest..” dad said

“Aur na bola toh..” i asked again

“Pta ni karan.. but I’ll feel bad..” mom said

“It’s a yes then..” I said and went to my room..



Tejasswi ’s pov

It was a Saturday morning and luckily karan had given an off to me today.. the bell rung and i opened the door to see karan’s mom and dad.. thank god i was wearing short kurti today.. i welcomed them and his mom made me sit with her..

“Tejasswi .. humein tumse bhut important baat krni hai..” she said and i nodded

“kya tum karan se shaadi krogi ?” Kyaaa.. i looked at her with wide eyes

“Tejasswi .. i know karan can be too much sometimes.. but he is the best.. i can guarantee that.. usne haan bol di hai.. tum btao.. kya tum use accept krogi?” She asked me.. unhone haan bol di ? Kaise ? Aur mujhe kuch btaya kyu nhi?

“I.. i.. i need to talk to karan first.. usse pehle main kuch nhi bol paungi..” i said and she nodded and got up.. his dad smiled and said

“Don’t feel pressurised beta.. we hope it’s a yes.. but agar nhi bhi.. toh bhi you are just like a daughter to us..” he said and aunty nodded at me with a broad smile.. they left and i messaged karan

‘We need to talk.. ASAP!!!’ I messaged and after an hour.. he was at my door
