She had been feeling under the weather since we've got into this town. I knew it was because of the Poplar trees all over the place because she was allergic to them. Tried talking Dean into calling a few other hunters in to do the job so we could get her back to the bunker and out of this town, but that wasn't about to happen.

"It's just an allergy, man." He said. "She'll get over it."

That was the first day. It's now been a week since we've got here, and (Y/N/N) was no better than when we got to the hotel. In fact, she was worse. She says it's nothing, but today she wasn't even able to get out of the bed or keep her eyes open for a certain period of time before falling asleep again. It was worrying me.

When I left for a supply run, I made sure to grab anything and everything allergy wise that she may need as I could. But even with her taking them, it wasn't helping much, if at all. She was sneezing and coughing her head off. (Y/N) complained of a major headache that would just not subside no matter the amount of painkillers she would take for it. It was all just bad for her.

I did worry about her, especially when I witness her feeling this awful, which wasn't very often. So, I told Dean I was going to hang back for the day to make sure that (Y/N/N) was taken care of.

"Look, I can't have both of you out for this hunt. I, at least, need you to help me, man." Dean said.

"And I told you when we got into town that we need to let someone else take the case. She's not fit enough to take care of herself, let alone hunt right now." I argued back.

Dean groaned. "She should have said something before we even left."

"How was she supposed to know anything about this town? You were the one who found the case. All you said was get packed and get in the car, then we left. Nothing else. So if you're going to blame anyone for her being sick, blame yourself." I fired back then headed back into the hotel room.

She was fast asleep, curled up into the hotel room blankets. I walked over to where she was laying and lightly placed my hand on her cheek. Her (Y/S/C) skin warm to the touch, so I went over to the bathroom sink and dampened a rag with cool water. Waking back over to the bed, I placed the now cool piece of cloth onto her forehead.

(Y/N) stirred at the feeling of the rag being placed onto her head. "Sam?" She questioned as her (Y/E/C) eyes started to flutter open slowly.

"Hey. How are you feeling?" I asked as I sat down on the edge of the bed next to her.

She let out a small groan before saying, "I'm ready to get out of here." She pulled the blankets up to her chin as if she was cold. "But I could be better, could be worse." She confessed. She then gave me a confused look. "Wait. Shouldn't you be out working on the case with Dean?"

"I couldn't let you suffer by yourself. So, I told Dean I was taking the day off and taking care of you."

The (Y/H/C) haired girl let out a small sarcastic giggle. "Bet that went over well with him."

I then let out a chuckle of my own and said, "Oh, yeah. Of course, it did. He took it fantastically." I gave her a small smile then continued talking. "What he doesn't know is that I have already called Bobby and he's going on his way here as we speak."

"You didn't tell Dean?"

"Not at all. He really thinks that I would just leave him hanging, so I'm going to let him continue to think that until Bobby gets here. Plus, we've been here a week now and we are no closer to finding out what this thing is than we were on day one." I explained.

"True." (Y/N/N) agreed. "But you don't have to stay behind to take care of me."

"I may not have to, but I want to." I said and brushed her hair gently out of her face from where it had fallen.

(Y/N) gave me a small smile and went to say something, but before she could Dean busted in the door.

"Did you know Bobby was coming?" He asked.

"Yeah. Why? He here?"

"Yes, he's here. It would have been nice to know you called reinforcements in!" He exclaimed.

(Y/N) let out and soft groan and clenched her eyes shut, covering her head with the blanket.

"Could you be quieter?" I sighed. "If you would have had some sympathy, then maybe I would have told you. Dean just rolled his eyes and shut the door.

"He's an add when he's grumpy." (Y/N) said from her spot under the blanket, which made me laugh.

"That he is, but now we can focus on getting you better." I replied.

Just then, Bobby popped his head in the door. "Sam, take that sweet girl home, will ya? I got this idgit. Keys are in the ignition of my car. Just makes sure she gets better." And with that, he was out the door once more without waiting for a reply.
