I never thought I'd see him again. After the big fight we had years ago while on a hunt, I thought there wouldn't ever be a chance where I'd seen him ever again. But here he stood on my doorstep with tears streaming down his face. Nothing could ever change the fact that it hurt me to see him cry and my heart broke even more with every tear that he let fall.

"Sam..." I breathed as I come face to face with the youngest Winchester.

"I know I shouldn't be here, and I know you're probably still pissed at me, as you should be, but I didn't know who else to go to." He sighed with a sniffle. "Hell, there is no one else to go to."

My heart pounded harder in my chest with his every word. "Sammy, what happened?"

Sam took a shaky breath and looked anywhere that wasn't my face then said, "Dean's dead."

I stared at him blankly, my heart plummeting in my chest. This couldn't be happening. "What happened?" I replied in a voice nothing above a whisper.

"I don't know exactly. One minute he was there, we were killing that Dick guy then the next there was a weird explosion and Dick, Dean and Cas were just gone." He explained.

I pulled the crying Winchester into my embrace. He wrapped his arms around me so tight that I almost couldn't breathe. But at this point I didn't care. Sam needed it so there for he could hold me as tightly as he needed to.

"Let's get you inside." I said as I let go of him and led him inside of the house.

He looked as if he hadn't slept in days which he probably hadn't. there's no way I could have slept if I had watched my only brother die the wat Dean had.

My hand never left his as I guided him to the living room and onto the couch. I sat down next to him on the couch and he placed his head on my shoulder as soon as I sat down.

We didn't talk. We didn't move. We just sat there for two hours. The sonly sound that could be heard during that time was the soft and sad sniffles that came from my strong but hurt Winchester.

"I'm sorry, (Y/N/N). For everything." He said.

I shushed. "It's okay, Sammy. I'm over it. To tell you the truth I can't remember what happened or what all was said."

"But I do." Sam said as he raised his head and looked at me. "I do and I regret every word I said. I drew you to the point of leaving and I have never regretted anything more in my life."

"Sam, we both said things we didn't mean that night and I wasn't so hot headed I would have seen that there was no real reason to leave the way I did." I explained as I brushed away the hair that had fallen in his face.

"I still love you." He stated. "More than anything."

I gave him the best smile I could muster up given the situation and said, "And I still love you."

Before I knew what was happening Sam's lips were on mine. The kiss was slow but passionate. It was everything I remembered it being and so much more. Sam pulled away and rested his forehead against mine.

"Stay with me." I whispered. "Don't go back out, baby. We can make this normal life work again. Just the two of us." He smiled and cupped my cheek gently with his hand which I leaned into. "I've missed you so much."

The young Winchester leaned in once more placing a chaste kiss upon my lips. "Just the two of us." He said with a small sad smile.
