This book is considered a standalone for the characters within this book are original creations of my own. A fun fact about this book is that it is the first story I have personally written at the age of 16. I decided to revisit this story, update it to my current writing style, and improve the overall plot. My first fantasy-genre story that served as the foundation to all of my writing you are able to read on this app.
Also, understand that I provide this content for free to read. Hitting that star button would be a nice way to show appreciation for the book. :) Constructive comments are always welcomed and always practice comment etiquette.

The rain was pounding down in a soft rhythmic beat that resonated within my ear drums.
My surroundings blanketed by the dense fog and light sheen of the rain, making it hard to see even two feet in front of me.
However it wasn't the intense storm that worried me or that I was shrouded in it.
My worries were fueled in my desperate search to find her. I continued to let my eyes scanned everywhere in search of just anything that was remotely her but nothing indicated to me that she was there.
Desperate to find her, I called out to her in the abyss of this wretched storm.
"JULIETTE!" as I cupped my hands around my mouth, increasing the volume of my voice to pierce through the pounding rain. "JULIETTE, WHERE ARE YOU?!" ANSWER ME!"
The only thing that answered me was the pounding rain.
Where did she go?
As I grew restless, rooted in the very spot I was at, I forced myself to move, running to who knows where.
The only thing that fueled my worthless legs to move was to find her, safe.
Tears were coming down my face, mixing in with the pouring rain as my anxiety continued to spike with every place I passed by, I didn't see her.
Running....
Running....
My heart continued to beat out of my chest, the fear of not finding her settled within the pits of my stomach. Suddenly, without knowing it, I came upon an abandoned tunnel. A structure that stood alone against the pouring rain. Thoughts ran through my head that maybe she took shelter here. Slowly, I walked inside, gathering the courage that the darkness of the tunnel does not frighten me.
My footsteps echoed within the walls, causing my body to be on edge with every single sound that resonated within that tunnel. However, no matter how afraid I was, I just kept walking, desperate to find her. No longer did I hear the rainstorm within that tunnel but the darkness was starting to swallow me. I don't know how long it was to the end of the tunnel, but as I continued, there was a blazing white light waiting for me at the end. I knew for sure there was something on the other side but suddenly, it seemed that light started to fade as I drew closer to it.
I started running, fearing I would be left alone in this place. I ran till my legs almost gave out, the light at the end was within reach. Soon I entered into light...
This was how the whole thing began...

This story was my first story I had started several years ago and it was because of this story that I found my joy in writing. It is a story that has been left unfinished and almost forgotten, until now. It continues to collects its dust, an unfinished story of almost 20 years but it's entire lore never forgotten.
It is through this story that I have an affinity for fantasy stories. Worlds that tickle the imagination. Probably it is why the few of my fantasy ones are the most popular.
I hope like many of the others I am able to finish this work. Elijah and Juliette's story is a wonderful one.
A story that follows a young man who felt that all he would do was live an ordinary life. From afar, admire and love a woman of his dreams, wishing he had the courage to just speak with her, confess his feelings. However, one freak accident took his life on an unexpected turn where he awakens in the vast fields in the world called Faileas. A reflection, a mirror image of his world where he meets the woman of his dreams but instead it's not her. She may look and sound like her but she is not her.
Follow the journey of Elijah as he navigates his way through an unknown land, alongside the reflection of his crush. A world he never knew existed and a world that pushes him to be someone he never thought he could be.
This is the story of Elijah and Juliette.
