Keefe and Sophie lay in the shade of the palm tree above them for a few minutes before Sophie thought they should probably go back. Of course, Keefe was not exactly happy with her suggestion.

"Aww, Foster! Do we have to?" Keefe whined.

"No Keefe. We don't have to. But can we go to your place? How is this winter?!" Because Sophie had started Foxfire in April instead of February she had started in autumn instead of summer so now that she had been there for a few weeks it was winter but it felt like summer but ask anyone who has lived there for several years and they will say that they are needing flannelette sheets and electric blankets. Ask anyone from further south and they will say it feels like Christmas day.

"Sure Foster. As long as you're happy I'm happy." Keefe answered making Sophie wonder what she did to deserve such a cute handsome kind boy. He stood up and offered her his hand. She took it and also grabbed his other hand. Then she pulled herself straight up into his face so that hers was only centimetres away from his, she had, of course, planned this being the reason she grabbed both his hand, knowing he wouldn't be able to stop himself from kissing her. But surprisingly he just stood there looking like he was using all his effort not to kiss her so Sophie whispered in his ear,

"What are you doing?" And he whispered back,

"Trying not to kiss you."

"Why?" She asked.

"Because I mean what I said this morning, I will never pressure you to go faster than you want." He was such an idiot. She decided to tell him what her plan had been.

"I meant it too. That's why I'm not kissing you. I had a plan. I didn't need both of your hands to pull myself up, I needed them both to get myself flat against you, and I didn't need to get this close, I wanted to make it nearly impossible for you to not kiss me but I didn't just do it so I wasn't pressuring you to kiss me."

"Your plan worked, I can't do this for much longer so either pull away right now or kiss me," Keefe told her so she kissed him, hoping she had as much love in it as he always had for her. "Wow ... how do you kiss with that much love?" Keefe asked her so quietly she almost didn't hear.

"How do you kiss with that much love?" Sophie asked back.

"What do you mean? There is no way I give anywhere near that much love. You just kissed me with the force of a thousand waterfalls."

"Well, how the turntables," Sophie replied. "You always kiss with the force of a thousand waterfalls."

Type *** if you found any references in this chapter and tell me how many and what they were. HOW HAVE I WRITTEN TWENTY-ONE CHAPTERS IN FOURTEEN DAYS?! I know that for you guys it has been a lot longer (twenty-two days to be precise) but the only way I have managed to keep this daily updating schedule is because I prewrite. I can write about five chapters in one day but to make sure you're not waiting for weeks until the next chapter I keep them daily and since I have a terrible memory, I schedule the publishes from the moment I have written it. This chapter is coming out on the eleventh of September but I wrote this on the second of September. If anyone is actually going to read this, thank you DaughteroftheOcean88 for being my first known reader. Also thank you to _kotlc4eva_for voting on every chapter they have read so far and to absolutely anyone reading my story
