Chapter 13

Mattheo's pov

Waking up I saw Bella peacefully sleeping on my chest, her hair falling over her face as I gently tried to place it behind her ear. I don't really know what happened last night but for some reason I can't control myself when I'm around her. I tried to stay away from her but that obviously didn't work. I have this weird feeling of comfort when I'm around her and I don't know how to feel about it.

My moments must have woken her as her eyes slowly opened, adjusting to the light. Slowly rising her head from my chest before looking up at me. "Good morning" I said admiring her beauty. "Good morning" she said, her voice still raspy from her sleep.

She sat up looking out the window before turning to me again, "What's the time?". I looked at the clock on my nightstand, "10 am".

"What? We missed first period, shit" her face turning to one of panic.

"Oh come on it's not that big of a deal"

"I had DADA with Umbridge first period" She said burring her face in her hands.

I couldn't help but laugh, "Oh well yeah, then you're fucked". She gave me an annoyed look as she began slowly getting out of bed.

She clearly learned from her previous mistake as she this time took it slow standing up. She put on her jeans and started gathering her things, "Could I borrow this shirt?" she asked referring to the one she had been sleeping in "Mine's all bloody you now".

"Yeah sure" I said liking the view of her in my clothes.

I got out of bed and walked to my closet when I heard a gasp. "What?" I asked looking at the stunned girl.

"I'm sorry" she said looking at me like she was ashamed.

"For what?" I was still confused at what she meant.

She pointed to the mirror "Your back".

I walked over to the mirror looking at my scratched up back. I could still she her ashamed face in the reflection as I began laughing. "It's no worries darling, I quite it like it" I said winking at her.

She too began laughing "You're crazy you know" she said picking up the last of her stuff and heading for the door.

"And you're apprently a cat" I said referring to my back. She gave me a playful glare before leaving my dorm.

Bella's pov

I hurried to my dorm to get changed in to the uniform and quickly made my way to class. I walked in to History of magic being right on time and taking a seat next to Pansy.

"Where were you first period, I was forced to sit with Purcey when you didn't show up" Pansy said making a disgusted face.

"Sorry I overslept" I said not ready to talk about last nights events.

The day went on as usual and I was about to head to the library when I saw Severus.

"Bella, you got a moment?" he asked.

"Yeah sure" I said following him to his classroom.

"So, whats up?" I asked taking a seat in one of the chairs.

"Well everybody starts to leave for Christmas break this weekend and I was wondering if you were okay with staying here over the break or if you want to go home? I have a lot of work I would need to get done over the break but I know last years Christmas was hard for you being without your parents so I want to make sure we do what you feel the most comfortable with" he said taking a seat at his desk.
