You Belong With Me

''whoa whoa, calm down chote, I know what it feels like'' he said and his eyes sparkled I bet he's thinking of the day he saw priti for the first time.

''May I know the name of the girl who occupied my brother's heart'' he said after some seconds.

''Aghh..bhaii that's the problem naa, I don't even know her name.''

''what are you say-'' he didn't continue as he was soo busy in laughing like a monkey, I mean yeah I know its a little bit funny that I don't even know the name of the girl who took my breath away in just a mere eye-contact but not that much funny.

''what bhaii?, you're literally laughing instead of telling me what to do'' I said pinching his arm.

''I can't help you this time chote , it's impossible to find someone through their face.'' he replied still laughing and I threw a pillow at him.

Soon I saw papa entering my room with both hands placed towards his sides, he was staring both of us with a coming-for-dinner-or-not look. Bhai got up from bed and said

''ji papa chal rahe hai'' and made his way towards our small dining table and I followed him.

After having dinner I came to balcony which is attached to my room and veranda. I pulled phone out of my pocket and called Rahul to ask about tomorrows football practice. Since, we all have successfully completed our first year this is our vacation time as our second year will start from december. All of my team members and I have decided to not drop our practice because of vacations. So we all will go to college for our football practice only. Also, I am happy that department has given us permission for playing football in campus even in vacations. After some rings Rahul picked up and said

''hey bro, how are you!''

''I am good, tell me about you?''

''everything is fine and smooth, and I know you have called to ask about practice timing ''

''Hell yes I called to ask that only but how do you know?''

''I have some superpowers. hahaha, bro it's been a year since both of us met, I know alot of things about you including your passion about football.''

''yeah, one year !!'' I sighed thinking of how fast the time flies, it was just yesterday when I came to med college and now I'm in second year.

''I think evening time will be good for practice'' Rahul said

''According to me morning will work better than evening as all of us will be more energetic in morning time.'' I said more like ordered to which Rahul replied with okay and asked me to convey the message to other members also. With this I cut the phone call and messaged everyone to be present at football court from 1 August at 7 am daily, after getting thumbs up from everyone I was again thinking of what to do to find out who was she...but I couldn't find any answer to my question because deep down I knew that I won't meet her again.

1 August

I did my morning chores and rushed to campus though it's just walking distance away I took Thar because I want to flex. After reaching there I saw none of my team members because it was 6:45 am only so I started doing some warm-ups and basic practices.

About 5 minutes later, I saw Rahul coming towards me. We gestured with fist bump and started practicing.

''soooo, how's everything? '' he asked dribbling the ball.

''everything's good'' I replied trying to snatch ball from him.

''like everything?'' he asked but I didn't understand what he is wanting to know.
