Again, Jean was silent, but only for a moment. "I deal with Christophe when I return home, then I'd like to speak with you more about that matter afterwards."
"Fine with me," Alastor agreed but decided to give one last warning. "But know that if this happens again, I will not be happy. And I will do everything to make sure you never see Amalie again. I promise you that. For my patients with your children, your son is finite and it's now drawing to its end."
"I understand Alastor," Jean told him. "I'll rein him in, his actions are getting out of hand."
"And who do you have to blame for that, I wonder?" Alastor asked, taking a shot at the older man's wife. For it was because of her that many faults in the family stemmed.
Something he could faintly relate to within his family dynamic, with his father, when he was much younger. At least until Alastor ended it with his own hands.
But that was where any similarity ended. For he hated his wife for her actions. Something that would never be forgiven.
But if there was anything good out of it, it was her.
Amalie.
His one and only daughter.
The only thing he had left.
The only thing he deeply cared for.
And the only one, he'd graciously die for.
Be it literal, or metaphorical. It mattered not.
For at long as she existed, he'd do anything for her. Even if it meant the world knowing who he truly was.
That's how far he'd go for her.
Thinking on that, Alastor soon found himself in the park where his daughter was playing while Anthony watched from a close, but relatively far distance. Amalie, his sweet girl, was the first to notice him. "Dad!" she ran up to him. "Are those people gone from the house now?"
He didn't answer, he merely lowered himself to her level and hugged her.
"Dad?" Amalie looked at him confused as he continued to hold her close, hugging her tightly as he smiled with love. "Did something happen?"
Alastor opened his eyes before peering down at his baby girl.
"Nothing's wrong, My Darling. Everything is just perfect."

"Hey, so you really don't plan on telling Kira this?" Liam asked, glancing up over his shoulder to look a Freddie. "I mean, you guys work together, shouldn't she be in the loop on this?"
"She will when I'm sure of something." Freddie countered. "Besides, you know how she's been in the past with any case involving him. So please, just print out the documents."
He looked back at the screen and began to print what was needed. "Okay, but don't say I didn't warn you when she gets pissed." When it was done, he handed Freddie the photocopies. "But why do you need a copy of the Davenport case? I thought the deaths of the father and son were ruled as an accident?"
Originally it was seen as murder but then turned to accidental death, illegally disposing of dead bodies and not notifying the police. As it appeared that Cathryn Davenport stumbled upon finding her son, Dave Davenport, and her husband Eric Mitchel, dead and for whatever reason dumped the bodies in the woods near the border of the United States.
