When I walked back downstairs I saw Nya scolding Jay for something he either said or did. "Y/n question are girls more mature then males?" Nya questioned me. "Well normally yes females do mature more faster however in a given state or if stressed females stop seeming they are mature do to not knowing what to do since their levels of stress and stuff is messed up," I responded back.

That's when I heard a thud and I turned around to see Kai laying on the floor as if he had tripped down the stairs. "I'm not gonna ask and I don't want to know," was all Nya said while scolding Kai.

I couldn't help but laugh a little bit and shook my head, "forgot to mention be careful going down the stairs when you wake up and stuff that first step always makes people miss it and not know it."

I went over to Kai and helped him up, making sure he was alright. He groaned in pain but managed to stand with my assistance. "Thanks," he mumbled, rubbing his sore backside. Nya rolled her eyes and walked away, clearly not. I couldn't help but feel a mix of concern and amusement as Kai brushed himself off.

I decided to go outside and grab the mail. When I reached the mail box there was a bunch of envelopes and other things in it. I sorted through the mail, separating the bills from the junk mail. As I flipped through the envelopes, I noticed a package addressed to me. Curiosityiqued, I hurried back inside to open it. Inside was beautifully wrapped gift with a note attached.

It read, "A little something to brighten your day." Excitement filled me as I unwrapped the gift and discovered a new book by my favorite author. It was the perfect surprise, and I couldn't wait to dive into its pages and escape into another world.

That's when Zane tapped my shoulder, "what is that?" I looked at him, "the new issue of f/b (favorite book) by my f/a (favorite author)." Was all I said and he tilted his head.
