MOMO'S POV

After a 10 quick ass minute of napping I finally decided to go outside and catch up to our first activity, I think I'm the only one they're waiting

I get my crocs and got outside the tent, the breeze hit my skin. I take breath and smile at the surroundings "I will definitely come back here" I said and start looking around to find the campfire

Not so long I reached where they are, for your information the total number of the class of Ms. Yuna is 47 but some of them didn't want to go with us. 29 students are here in the campground including us

Jeongyeon spotted me walking towards them, I know exactly what she's going to do "look who finally decided to join us" She said and everyone looked around including Ms. Yuna

"Even here you're still late" Jihyo said that makes everyone laugh "Good evening everyone, I'm sorry I'm late" I said and bowed

"Momo, seat beside Ms. Yuna" Jungkook said I look at Ms. Yuna to see the next seat beside her was empty, I look around hoping that there's another seat but in my defeat I didn't see anything

Well I don't have a choice "may I?" I ask Ms. Yuna and she just move a little to make space for me. What we're seating is just a cut body of the tree, the one you see in the movie

I take my seat and listen to what Ms. Yuna is going to say "okay everyone let's continue what we are doing earlier"

I look around and spotted jeongyeon having a teasing look on her face, I raise my right eye brow and she raised her hand telling me that she surrendered

"Ms. How about momo share her childhood memories with us? she's late, right?" That jungkook kid is really getting into my nerves

I look at him deadly and he just smirk "do you have anything to share with us, Ms. Hirai?" Ms. Yuna said beside me

I didn't really know what to answer with that, I don't have a memorable childhood like anyone else

My parents are always busy with their business and the one who took care of me was my grandma. It's like she's the who stood there as my real parent

Ever since I was a child, my life seemed like an endless whirlwind of loneliness and disappointment.

I've always longed for the warmth of a parent's love, but my own parents, consumed by the demands of their business, never had time for me. Their absence left a void in my heart that seemed impossible to fill.

It was my grandma who became my refuge, the sole pillar of support in my life.

She embraced me with open arms, her eyes filled with love and understanding. She took me under her wing and became the parent I so desperately craved.

Her wrinkled hands held mine, guiding me through life's challenges and teaching me valuable lessons that I couldn't have learned anywhere else.

I couldn't help but resent my own parents for their neglect. While they were off building their empire, I was left to fend for myself emotionally.

I felt like an afterthought, a burden they never had time for. The anger inside me grew like a storm, fueled by the knowledge that my own flesh and blood had chosen business over family.

As the years passed, my bond with my grandma only grew stronger. She regaled me with stories of her own youth, teaching me about resilience, compassion, and the importance of cherishing the moments we have.

She became the rock that kept me grounded amidst the chaos of my emotions.

But deep inside, the anger festered. It was a fire that burned brightly, a reminder of the pain and emptiness I had endured.
